The walls are incredibly thin and you can hear everything! All night we had a noisy family next door and an older couple having “fun” all night. The fire alarm went off and had no idea why, we were in bed asleep! It scared us! Place was clean tho but the more I looked the more I noticed slight damage.

Good location, picked hotel as it was a good deal for me and my daughter's, three beds in the room. Good size and clean. Reception friendly and welcoming. Down side was the breakfast, very poor. No cerial, fruit or yougurts for those that don't like the cooked breakfast. Cooked breakfast very difficult to get out of the hot cabinet had to use my sleeve to pull trays forward as very hot. No eggs scrambled or fryed. Sausages very dense and gristly. Not worth the money.

We had a comfortable stay at the Gilson Hotel which is very conveniently located in the centre of Hull just 3 minutes' walk from the Bus and Rail Interchange. The room was comfortable and clean and the price charged for it was very fair and reasonable. The shower and toilet were clean and fresh with plenty of hot water. The wifi in my room was very good. Staff we met were polite and welcoming.
