A comfortable friendly hotel ten minutes walk from the old town. Staff very friendly and helpful although having paid extra for a room on the quieter business floor we were disturbed by the noise of 'partygoers' returning from their nights out rather than traffic noise...More

Smart Parking is not so difficult to work out. Bear in mind The "attached" car park does NOT belong to Travelodge.
fees: Daytime from 8am to 6pm
1-2hr 80p
2-3hr £1.60
park all day (3hr plus, valid to 6pm) is £2.40
Night time parking - (6pm to 8am) is 1.00
Notes:
1. If you park up before 6pm pop the fee in to take you to 6pm. Once you exceed 6pm (therfore at some time during the evening), pop a quid in the machine. This will cover you until 8am the following morning (or until you drive off before if 8am). DON'T d anyhtong other than put a pound in.
2. You DO NOT need to come down to pump more cash in at 8am - just pay the fee for the time parked, FROM 8am UNTIL your physical departure time BEFORE moving off.
So.. if you depart at 10 am, pay 2 hrs fee before you drive off.
3. If after 8am you are stopping on the car park for the day, pop cash in the machine which will cover you until you physically drive off the car park. That means, if you intend to park all day and not use your car at all that day, pay 2.40 at some time before 6pm and that will cover you UNTIL 6pm .
Repeat as above, until you dapart for good.
Remember though if you subsequently decide to drive off at all, (even though you have maybe paid for a full day), that will end that particular transaction and you will have to pay again if you return.

Hi
Yes we do, when you arrive please advise the receptionist on duty that you would like to leave your bags and we'll hold them for you until you check in and we can also hold them after you check out as well.
Regards
Nick
