We called in after a trip to the garden centres nearby for something to eat. My wife and daughter had roast lamb with all the trimmings and I had a steak and ale pie. It was all really well cooked, a decent sized portion for what we paid. We will definitely be back again.

Beautifully set in a courtyard arrangement with covered walkway, great for us as it was a rainy weekend. The rooms are well kept, well appointed and very comfortable. A well stocked and welcoming mini-fridge with milk, orange juice and water. Complimentary breakfast items and fresh croissants with preserve. That's just the accommodation which is hidden behind a traditional and equally... More

Two couples enjoyed a Sunday lunch. Busy little pub with friendly staff and selection of standard fayre. Three of us tucked in to the steak and ale pie, which was delicious and you could really task the ale. One tried the prawn salad and was very impressed with the size of the portion of prawns. As we'd taken our pet... More

Called in on the off chance. Much bigger than we had thought. Very comfortable pub and everyone was very friendly. We only had a baguette for lunch but end g up skipping our evening meal as the food was ample and very tasty. Will be making it regular stop from now on.

We came here after being let down elsewhere, the staff were lovely. This is an old, fairly dark building, but I believe there is a newer part to the rear. Lovely dogs! Owned by the proprietor, great food. Good value. Will cone again. Great parking too.

This was booked for me by a local Motorhome company which had been under repair. It is a really nice place, clean room, friendly staff and a hearty continental breakfast 10/10. The Pub serves some nice real ales too, but with a frothy northern head :)
