whole place needs updating.Stairwells dilapidated peeling paint and wood hanging down everywhere, very dirty exterior. Room very basic with lights hanging off the wall and holes in the bathroom where a towel rail once stood am guessing, Incredibly hot couldn't work out why cant leave a window open as design of terraces makes it unsafe. To top it all at 2... More

I have just spent the night at this hotel the only words to describe my stay is "shocking". As you read the reviews on here the interior is somewhat insulting stains on carpets, walls, and the bathroom is horrendous and not one plug socket available to use. As this hotel is situated on a main road you don't get any... More

Upon arriving room was clean and the service was very good. Staff very polite and attentive. Zoe and Jess were friendly receptionist to us both while the evening chef Beccy cooked my steak to perfection on top of being our waiter for the evening, top notch. While Farid was the breakfast chef which was always something to look forward to.... More

This hotel is on the corner of a very busy traffic junction and you will hear traffic all night long. The room was like something out of the 70s it was that bad, the location is right in the town centre but I really hope I do not have to stay here again. The walls are like brick all over.

I have been coming to this hotel for weeks now and the staff always go out of their way to help. Jess and Zoe are always welcoming and Becky cooks a mean steak. Yes the place could do with a little updating but the staff really go the extra mile to compensate for this.

The hotel is dirty and poorly maintained, they is only one plug in room so you need to unplug the tv to use it, everything else is hardwired in. The carpets are so dirty with stains all over, the walls had dirty... More

The hotel is situated in the middle of a very busy road junction with stationary traffic a few feet from the room when we went to reception which is also a bar it was full of workmen shouting and swearing. The hotel itself looked like a very run down council estate paint peeling from the walls and light fittings hanging... More

We stayed here on the 18 August 2016 for one night. Rooms basic but clean and tidy. Tea and coffee in room but only two tea bags which was disappointing and the complimentary biscuits were missing. The breakfast was delicious and lots of choice. Staff friendly and quiet surroundings apart from the noisy guests we endured that night who decided... More
