The B&B was initially difficult to find since house numbers and signage were absent. However the "WOW" factor kicked in upon entering the building. The whole house was straight out of Victorian England. The proprietor is a retired English Butler and this was reflected in the service. My room was very comfortable with a small but fully functional en-suite bathroom.... More

Great host, excellent location with parking , spacious bedroom /bathroom , large very comfy bed very much a 5 star B&B . The Victorian theme has been completed to an excellent standard and whilst Harold had compromised with a radio in the room , no TV might be an unspoken issue for many in this age although it did not... We had been looking for a getaway in Kent, and The Victorian B&B was ideal. We not only felt like we had gone to another place, but also to another place in time. The comfortable rooms, the authentic Victorian and royal décor, and the welcoming and gracious host, Harold, were all far beyond a 5-star rating. It’s difficult to add... More

What can I say or where can I begin......... The Victorian bed and breakfast is possibly the best bed and breakfast in the UK. Harold, the owner is the most warm welcoming host and his eye for attention to detail is fantastic. His interior design ideas and outcomes deserve recognition, the property's interior is so unique I just do not... More

I'm not afraid to say that this is one of the best bed&breakfast that I have ever seen. The house is near the centre of Tunbridge Wells in a lovely residential road within walking distance from the station and from the Pantiles. The house is lovely from the outside and it is stunning inside. As soon as you walk through... More

We stayed here as part of our 31st anniversary trip. Owner and host, Harold is just wonderful. He was ready to meet any need or question we had. He served the perfect cup of tea accompanied by fascinating stories about his home and life. If you love history and the Victorian age, this is the place for you. We stayed... More

Not much to add to what the other reviewers wrote. This house, which was built in 1860, is loaded with Victorian original antiques and art. It is more like a tiny museum, with 3 bedrooms. Harold (the owner) is a friendly guy and we enjoyed chatting with him. Book over the phone and you will be able to get a... More

We stayed only one night but The Victorianism and truly enigmatic welcome we received from Harold was worth more than the featured four stars of this establishment. A step back in time a step forward in manners. Everything was as should have been back in the 1860s but just so correct, view the website to believe then book up and experience... More

Harold the owner of the B&B had decorated every room in high Victoriana. Our room was lovely and light facing the street with big windows. The room is quiet with very comfy beds. Excellent cooked breakfast with linen cloths and fine china. Heaps of delicious food and fresh coffee and freshly squeezed juices. Afternoon tea was a scrumptious Victoria sponge... More

we stayed her 3 nights i the beginning of May and had two rooms. Both rooms are different and well decorated in the victorian style. My room was toward the wonderful garden and very quiet. The other was toward the street, but a quiet street. Parking was easy. The host was very serviceminded and told us where to eat and... More
