#5 of 13 hotels in Royal Tunbridge Wells
Hotel du Vin Tunbridge Wells is set in one of the town's architectural landmarks, a Grade II-listed sandstone mansion built as a private residence in 1762. We have retained its authentic detail carefully, adding our unique touch to the 34 bedrooms with antiques and memorabilia. Guests can enjoy a game of boules, dining on the garden terrace with its wonderful views across Calverley Park, or a wander through the hotel's very own vineyard. BEDROOMS: Housed within this impressive building are 34 timelessly styled bedrooms and stunning suites, all featuring luxurious handsprung mattresses, fine Egyptian linen, deep baths and powerful drench showers, plasma TVs, DVDs and air conditioning. BISTRO: Open all week, and under the tutelage of head chef Daniel McGarey, Bistro du Vin is at the heart of our hotel, a classic, French styled, elegant and informal setting for lunch, dinner, to meet, celebrate or simply pass the time. Dine on the finest produce the Kent has to offer from local heroes such as herbs and seasonal vegetables from local nursery chef's herbs, meat from Woodlands Farm and fish from Chapman's of Sevenoaks. These are only a handful of the suppliers included within our homegrown & local philosophy.

This hotel has always been a highlight of a visit to Tunbridge Wells - but it’s no longer the case. The architecture and grandeur of the building is still there, but the interiors feel dated and dark. The reception area is a small check I. Desk and staff are pleasant. The front

Bought this as a voucher for my husband. The sommelier James was an absolute expert in his field, very engaging and knowledgeable. He listened to what wines we liked and then bought us a selection of 4 reds and 4 whites, and talked us through the difference in the grapes, the

I stayed at the Hotel du Vin making the most of its ‘Fab Friday’ deal. This included dinner and breakfast, plus champagne in the room. It was not bad, although dinner lacked the ambience that Hotel du Vin used to have a few years back. There was also extra charges that we

We stayed at the Hotel du Vin, as we were attending a Concert at the assembley Hall across the road, it has always impressed us and we had heard through friends what a nice place it was. We asked for a parking space, which we knew would cost extra but it didn't matter, when we

Dear G8744MQjameso Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry you found the Market table wanting during your recent visit. We have tried to keep it as good value as possible in the face of extraordinary food cost increases. I am glad you found the team good, and the remainder of your feedback is certainly taken on-board. Best wishes,
