This is a very clean small hotel with lots of fun about it, the western theme is fantastic. The staff are first class and the food is excellent. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the town, not great for old people due to the hills. Brilliant time

I came to smith and western with a few friends on a Friday evening and I must say the food was great, the service was great, it's just unfortunate that we were put in a part of the restaurant that had a large group of travellers in and were all pretty drunk and loud/aggressive. Since going on that night (fri)...

Very comfortable, clean and quiet. Fantastic breakfast and good choice for evening meal and happy hour cocktails. Room has lots of little touches, such as bottled spring water, cookies, a tassimo machine and mints, all of which are free of charge. Was slightly cold but only a very minor complaint.

Food was average at best. Bit quirky with the cowboy theme. I just felt it was a bit odd - supose this is one of the big chains! Staff where good! but prefer a nice Italian! Rooms where good - spacious. Bit strange as rooms are so different to the cowboy theme!

Don't be put off by the Cowboy themed restaurant and hotel. There's plenty of parking and when you enter the building it certainly has a Cowboy theme, the staff are dressed up and and very polite and helpful. Food in the restaurant is also American themed but cooked well, no complaints there from me. On to the bedroom, they are...

Just visiting for one day so we wanted somewhere to stay that wasn't too expensive but included meals. We got so much more than we expected with the Smith and Western. We loved the wild west themed restaurant and indian named rooms (we'd forgotten there were so many tribes) and friendly staff. There were even souvenirs to buy, and the...

We did not stay in the hotel, just visited the restaurant as we only had time for coffee, but were impressed with the restaurant and wished we had had the time to eat, as the food looked rather good, albeit on looking at the menu 'pricey'. We were met by a cowgirl and directed to the bar, where we were...

Great hotel clean the only criticism was for us was room very beige, had all you needed in the room and toiletries also, staff friendly, bed was comfy and we had a good nights sleep we thought we would wake early due to traffic as on a busyish road but we wasn't woken at all... Breakfast was very tasty my...
