We stayed for a 3 night weekend and wish it could have been much longer. The location of each of the tents in woods gives plenty of privacy, and the views over the fields into the valley and Hills is stunning. We cooked on the wood burning stove and bbq every night, toasting marshmallows in the firepit. The tents themselves... More

What a lovely family weekend. We are big fans of Feather Down Farm, but this one was special with beautiful views, a fantastic boating (and swimming in my case!) lake and extra luxury tents with lovely hot and powerful showers. The Miles family were particularly good hosts, going beyond the call of duty to make sure we had a super... More

I felt it really important to post on TripAdvisor having read the reviews written by people complaining about Jo and others at this farm. We found the place idyllic but beyond that, if you understand that you are guests on a working farm the welcome and care offered by the family was excellent. Jo and Gill were both charming and... My family of three, including two teenagers aged 13 and 18 years have just returned from our very first short break with Feather Down, though it won’t be our last. While I would admit that I am not keen on the camping concept at all, I was finally persuaded by my two ‘Scouts’ that I would enjoy the more upmarket... More

just back from 3 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed it, its camping without some of the unpleasant bits!! eg - they have toilets in the tent, setting is beautiul and the tents themselves are also stunning, you feel like you have gone back 100 years, each tent as a wood burner and 2 bedrooms plus a little secret cupboard bedroom... We found a deal on groupon and decided it would be a nice way of escaping London for the weekend, and we were right. I don't think we were the usual visitors as we were a group of 2 couples with no children but we had a great time and would recommend to any other all adult groups. There were... More

Just back from a weekend here with a few friends. Jo, Gill and the family were really friendly and helpful and we had a lovely weekend despite pretty horrid weather. The tents are exactly as they look in the pictures, beds are spotless and really cosy. I found it a really relaxing weekend and found myself happy to sit round... More

We had a great time on the farm, the children loved it. They enjoyed the play area and the animals. We made pizza in the bread oven and collected wood for an evening by the fire pit. A Highly recommended holiday for spending time with family and enjoying fresh air and the great outdoors. The hosts were great, friendly and... More

Just had a wonderful weekend at Sunninglye Farm with a big group of friends - 15 children in total. We really loved the 'glamping' experience; it's a wonderful opportunity to relax and get away from the stress of modern day living. The children had great fun playing in the woods and at the pond; we did the den building and... More
