I booked the Brick House in Tunbridge Wells for my parents who were visiting me for the first time in my new home. They had such a good stay they already want to come back and savour the fantastic hospitality bestowed on them by Julia and Clive. They arrived late on the Friday to be welcomed by Clive. An easy... We only left this gorgeous B&B a couple of days ago and are  already planning when we can go back! We had room two which is a beautiful twin room with a tasteful decor, and extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and we were made to feel very welcome. Julia is a fount of local knowledge and a... More

I booked a room at 'The Brickhouse B&B' following good reviews and awards on their breakfast. Upon arrival we were welcomed with a pungent smell of old deep frying. The unpleasantness of fat burning in the house seemed stuck to the carpets, curtains and just about every fabric in the house. This review is hard to type because the mere... More

There seems to be some mistake here. Due to a water burst which brought down two ceilings, etc. we have not been operating for the last few weeks. Refurbishment is due to start soon. As an aside, we don't deep fry on the premises and we have the highest rating of 5 from the Food Standards Agency as well as... More

We stayed in two rooms for two nights to attend our sons wedding. The rooms are massive and really well decorated (Laura Ashley wallpaper I believe). A Kettle with a large selection of beverages is provided in each room. The breakfast choice and quality was also excellent. If there are any cons then it was that the parking is a... More

The B n B is an old brick building with limited parking. We parked at the front, enough for one car with the nose sticking out a bit (we only have a small car). We were greeted by Clive the host who was pleasant enough but not very chatty. We stayed for 5 nights and he prepared the breakfasts each... More

Large Edwardian property with car parking facilities and so ideally located to the Town Centre. Friendly hosts who produce a first class breakfast. A clean and comfortable room ( large one at front) with all mod cons. All in all ecellent value.

Lovely Edwardian house very centrally located for town centre and restaurants. Proprietors Julia and Clive achieved a good balance of service and privacy, they were around at breakfast, and in the evening, and you were able to come and go as you pleased. Tasty breakfast was to personal order and time, rooms very comfortable and quiet.

My husband and I stayed at this venue for two nights. Friends of ours booked this accommodation for our visit. The room was clean and pleasantly decorated. The beds were comfortable and there was a little seating area with tea and coffee making facilities. We were able to adjust the heating in the room to suit ourselves and the window... More

We stayed at The Brick House for two nights and thought it tremendous value for money. Our room was beautifully furnished to a very high standard and and spotlessly clean. Our bathroom was across the landing but this presented no problems at all. The bathroom was very spacious, towels big and fluffy and the toileteries of good quality. The house... More

This was our second comfortable stay, and we had the best ever kippers and pancakes imaginable at breakfast. Julia and Clive, and well behaved companion animals, make for a friendly stay in a most convenient location. (Need to be aware of the serious flight of stairs to the bedrooms.)
