Just returned from a nine day stay at The Falstaff. I was most impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of everyone we interacted with. We immediately felt like family. Our luggage was delayed four days due to an airline mistake, but when it was delivered the delivery service did not contact me, but called the Inn instead. They were not at the Inn at that time but dropped what they were doing and came back to accept our luggage, much to our relief. The morning breakfast (both included continental and full service) were excellent. Our room (#1) was very spacious with a large nice bathroom. The shower was large enough and tall enough for my 6' 3" / 220lb body -- not a common occurrence anywhere in UK or Europe. We will come back for another pleasant stay at the Falstaff Inn.

We very much enjoyed our stay , the rooms are spacious and very clean , the staff were welcoming and friendly. The included breakfast was adequate and the cook breakfast was very good. Once they fully reopen the kitchen for evening meals it would increase my rating. The parking was very useful. Also being dog friendly was for us essential.

It was a very comfortable hotel and we enjoyed our 2 day stay. Great beds, very clean, lovely shower, friendly staff. Easy walking distance to the harbour but still very quiet, even with a room on the road side.

I’m not usually one to write a negative review but with how awful the service was I received Saturday for my sisters birthday breakfast I feel the need! After waiting 30 minutes for our coffee, our breakfasts arrived - the vegan breakfast, was not vegan - so was sent back, the second breakfast to arrive - was not vegan!!! When questioned the reply we received was its vegetarian breakfast, the breakfast had egg on, vegans don’t eat eggs! We sent back again and told them not to bother and was told we wouldn’t be charged for her breakfast. I should think not when she didn’t even pick up her knife and fork to eat it. Surly an establishment such as this knows the difference between vegan and vegetarian??? It took an hour and 40 mins for a cup of coffee and a roll. When going to pay the miserable sour faced lady who my mum asked for the bill looked at my mum like a piece of c*** at the bottom of her shoe! I just wish my mum would of told me at the time as the breakfast would not of been paid for at all!!! We saw one lady walk out when we first got there just a shame we didn’t leave with her. Complete and utter waste of the morning. Had we been apologised and not spoken to like we were a burden being there then I wouldn’t of felt the need to write this but as I work in the same industry, i feel you need to train your staff to not be so rude and unwelcoming. Certainly won’t be coming back here again which is a shame as we’ve been for a few lovely afternoon tea previously.

We spent 2 nights at the Falstaff travelling with friends, first trip out after lockdown The Falstaff is in an excellent position just off the Harbour, it is a beautiful historical building, and takes pride of place in the interesting street where it is located (Winner of the Ramsgate design award 2018) it has a restaurant, bar and deli /cafe, there is a gorgeous courtyard garden perfect for early evening drinks or morning coffee . The comfortable rooms are all individually and tastefully decorated with lovely vintage pieces, the mattress is divine, best nights sleep in years! Wonderful genuine welcome from the team, they made us all feel at home straight away it really felt like home from home, we were given excellent recommendations for restaurants and bars in the area, (at the time we stayed the Restaurant was closed ) On the first morning we had the continental breakfast, the second morning we had a lovely breakfast from the Falstaff deli, We had a great stay and have recommended the Falstaff to friends who booked and also had a fabulous stay. We will definitely be returning there is nowhere else in Ramsgate we would choose to stay Thank you Peter and Piero, we will be back soon !!
