Haven’t got a bad word to say about this place. We booked quite late, the day before we wanted to go, and booking via phone was very straightforward. All the staff were kind and friendly. We had room 5 which was on the second floor and had a cracking sea view. I was a bit wary of how good the view would be as there aren’t masses of pictures on the hotels website but it was really good. The room was really clean, as was the bathroom. We had breakfast included with our stay which was lovely - not sure if the restaurant has a separate page for reviews but we had a great meal there on our first night, generous portions and really nice wine. Hotel is in a good location for the seafront. We wanted a treat for our wedding anniversary and this was perfect. We hope to visit again another time.

We stayed overnight whilst visiting family in the area as we were booked in for a meal with them all in the restaurant. We stayed in room 1 which is a sea view room but overlooking the road. I didn’t have any issues with the noise and slept really well, but my husband who is a light sleeper was woken up a few times. The room was very stylish and clean and we loved the bathroom. Our only complaints were that there was no phone, even though it was mentioned in information folder, so we couldn’t call down to reception when we needed an ironing board so had to get dressed and go down. Also, after having made a cup of tea there were white bits floating in it, which turned out to be the milk from the sachets. They were all over a month out of date. Again it was frustrating that we couldn’t ring down to reception to get some in date milk so had to forget the hot drinks We did mention it at the front desk when we went down to eat and they were very apologetic. The food in the restaurant was amazing, I had the cauliflower soup, and beef cheek and it was delicious. The staff in reception, restaurant and serving drinks were all lovely. Breakfast was good too but the staff weren’t as attentive as the prev evening We visit the area a lot whilst visiting family and will definitely make this our go to hotel in future

Very comfortable hotel with good facilities , nice food and very helpful friendly staff. Highly recommend them. Good location just up the hill from town, the harbour and beach. Parking on the main road always seemed to be available too.
