We had a first floor huge bedroom with two queen sized beds and our own huge bathroom with freestanding clawfooted bathtub and a corner stand up shower cubicle. Our Australian Son lives in London, my Husband and I visited UK in May 2016 and we wished to see The White Cliffs and Dover Castle. Fortunately our Son booked an overnight... More

House is cozy, and Grace is lovely. Breakfast was great. Location is ideal, between the train station and the castle and close to shops and restaurants. I had the master bedroom, which was spacious. The en suite bathroom was beautiful, although the shower was a bit cramped.

When I read reviews of No. 7 Priory Guest House, many people specifically mentioned how much they liked Grace, the owner. I have to second that emotion. Her house is lovely and comfortable, and it's very conveniently located for walks to the beach and to Dover Castle, which were the purpose of our visit. But we did not expect to... More

Modest guest house tucked away at the end of a short cul-de-sac (access is from Norman Street); safe but tight parking so take care if you have a posh car. Landlady Grace is a treasure, welcoming, homely, genuine and chatty ..brought us tea on arrival which was a nice touch. Narrow stairway (we were on the 3rd floor above which... More

I have stayed here several times. Great hostess, brilliant breakfast. Very flexible with nothing too much trouble. Rooms are great. Whenever we are Dover, we ALWAYS use this establishment over any of the others.

My sister and I recently stayed at 7 priory with my 7 month old and my year old children, we stayed in the basement room which was very spacious and had a wonderful family atmosphere. The host was very accommodating to our requirements and made our breakfast specifically to our dietary needs. Grace is the best host we've come across,... More

I have stayed in this guest house end of September for a night. We were travelling from Bristol to Luxembourg and as we have a small baby we have decided to stay one night in Dover, and to take the ferryboat in the morning. This is just a house, where a family is leaving, and they are renting 2 rooms.... More

This is a very nice place. The hostess was welcoming and we had a lovely double double room overlooking the castle. The place is spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast beautifully cooked. Little touches like bathroom toiletries included were nice. Will definitely visit again when we are in the area. Highly recommended.

This is my idea of what a guest house should be like. A warm welcome at the door from Grace when I arrived, no fuss about checking in, I was shown to a comfortable, clean room which contained everything I would need, I was then given a key to the room and to the front door and then left to...
