This B&B was the best and most clean that we encountered on our trip visiting South/West of England. The rooms were nice and cosy. The hospitality and breakfast was outstanding. The B&B was very clean, not only the rooms but the whole building! If we ever visit England again we will make shore to stay here again.

What a find! Fabulous hosts, fabulously comfortable beds and rooms, and a wonderfully cooked breakfast. A short walk into Dover centre, ample free parking outside. The room was clean, big, and had nice touches including hand soaps (choice of 3!), shower gel, and the usual tea/coffee. The hairdryer was very welcome. The decor is fresh, modern and tasteful. As frequent... More

I had a wonderful stay here. Bedding arrangements were lovely and comfortable. Great selection for breakfast. Very convenient to Dover Priory & Central Dover. Bike friendly and they were very accommodating when my departure was delayed.

The place was clean, owner very friendly, breakfast was great ! Located good but no bedside lamp or light above bed for reading, bed linen and towels clean but really old and thin bed sheets not matching towels small and very thin. Ask for room on ground floor and months in advance but given 2 nod floor. Hard to sleep... More

We were spending long Easter weekend at Dover and had selected this hotel based on its rating. Staff is very cheerful and helpful - no doubts they are trying their best. Rooms are quite small (we were at a room for 3 persons with 4 years kid and I didn't always feel comfortable), but rooms are perfectly clean. Big minus... More

Stayed overnight on return from France, short notice booking. Recieved warm welcome from Laz and wife, really made to feel at home. Top floor room spotless. Full english breakfast faultless. Highly reccommend The Norman for either one night or weekend stay.

The Norman is in many ways an old fashioned guest house - by that I mean you get excellent personal service, superb home cooking and a great stay. Just a one nighter for us prior to an early morning ferry (just 5 minutes away) but we were well looked after. A prior request for a quiet room on an upper... More

We decided to travel down to Dover the night before catching the Ferry for our France trip. Found this guest house through Booking.com and so glad we did. A warm welcome from Laz, a comfortable room with tea/coffee facilities and neat en suite Very quiet room - top of the house overlooking the garden. Warm morning welcome and a delicious... More

We were really impressed with this guest house. Very friendly owners. Spotlessly clean. Good facilities. Great breakfast. Good location, on the main road, but easy to find. Everything a great B&B should be.

Home cooked meal, friendly staff, and ease of booking/checking in while still being close to the station. One star off due to lack of wifi, but all in all a great stay in a quint town. From here we were able to walk wherever we needed to, but there are typically taxis by the station.
