Dover was a stop before catching the ferry. The guest house is close to the port, if you have bags though a taxi is sensible. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, meeting us on arrival and having a chat, breakfast was the same, so you could ask for information about attractions, travel and restaurants. The room was so comfortable... More

We stayed here on our outbound and inbound ferry journeys, so we had two different rooms - and what rooms they were! On our outbound journey we had the Victoria and on our return we stayed in Clementine. Both rooms were fabulous - the Victoria has a delightful mini-conservatory attached which is wonderful to sit and read or knit in.... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and wish it was 3 months. It is close to Dover Castle the cliff walk and market square Alex meet us at the front door and we felt at home. His parents Betty and Alastair are a wonderful couple and felt like family. Breakfast made to order and was perfect all around

Such quaint rooms, I suggest "Clementine". The family that owns it is so nice and the breakfast is wonderful!! The best bed and breakfast experience. Located right in the little town and close walking distance to Dover Castle. Rooms equipped with everything you could need.

This wonderful guesthouse is situated on Castle Rd which is situated 2 minutes away from the town centre and 5 minutes away from the seafront. We had a twin bed room on the top floor accompanied with a spacious bathroom offering everything from shower wash, shampoo, body lotion, cleansing wipes and bath robes. The decor is very vintage and original... More

We came here for a one night stay over the Bank Holiday weekend. Everything about our stay was excellent - from original booking enquiry, to check in, to breakfast. When I placed our booking enquiry and it was confirmed I received a very helpful email about parking and an event being held at Dover Castle. When we arrived we had... More

We stayed in the Victoria en-suite room which was absolutely first class, very clean & tidy with a fair sized en-suite facility. The B & B is ideally situated and close to all the amenities. The delicious breakfast is a must for those who enjoy a traditional English Breakfast, highly recommended. All the staff are very friendly and polite, and... More

We stayed in the Victoria Double for one night and enjoyed the tranquility, ambience and sumptuous, delicious breakfast. The location is perfect, as it is not far from the citiy centre or Dover castle. We also experienced a very warm welcome. The room was very clean and the private conservatory adds to the overall comfort.

This was my second stay and I love the homey feel as well as the close proximity to all there is to do in Dover. This B& B sits right below the castle and cliffs. I appreciate the history it was built in 1834 and has many antiques, which I love. Alistair, Betty, and Alex are the perfect hosts. Betty... More

This guest house is an excellent place to stay for couples, families, and singles stopping by! We arrived later Friday evening, and from the very start we had a great experience. Alexander was welcoming and friendly, and the check-in process was no muss no fuss. Our room (the Clementine King) was beautifully appointed, with antique furniture and the comfiest bed... More
