Martin was a great host, beds were comfortable. Lovely breakfast. Slept really well. Good value for money, home from home. Will definitely consider staying again when in the area. Highly recommend to anyone to stay here.

We stayed here for one night before getting the ferry to Calais. We had a brilliant greeting very friendly and helpful very nice modern and spotlessly clean room. Owner couldn't help us enough he was brilliant we had a trailer and even helped with unhitching to park it, parking is limited although there's places around it. Location for the ferry... More

The Sundown is a nice B&B in the middle of Dover. The room was comfortable and had all the regular hotel amenities. The owner was very nice and suggested a decent place for us to eat on the water. He had a place for us to park around back and the WiFi was good (and frree).

Martin was a helpful and accomodating host, the room was comfortable and snug. A great place to stay. We stayed in the annex which was great, Martin allowed us full use of all the kitchen amenities which mean we could make meals and the like. I would recommend a stay here.

We stayed at this guesthouse during a weekend trip to Dover. We brought our dog with us and stayed in the Annex portion of the guesthouse. Positives: The owner was endlessly kind and accommodating. She was extremely sweet to our pup! The room was clean and had everything we needed (except a hairdryer; I forgot mine). The guesthouse is very... More

There is nothing to fault about this place, highly recommend it! The people here are brilliant, we couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The facilities are great, amazing shower and the beds give you the best nights sleep. We were doing a charity event and they were extremely helpful and very generous, even giving us snacks to eat... The place is lovely and homely, the people are exceptionally friendly and helpful, I couldn't ask for better. We felt extremely welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our stay - if only it could have been longer. The best B&B I have stayed at.

My husband and I stayed here on a Friday & Saturday night as we had booked a day trip to France. I had a good feeling about the place when I called to say that we would be checking in quite late as we had a long journey to make to get to Dover. I was told 'not to worry'... More

I can't rate this b & b highly enough. Sonia and Martin make you so welcome that it's just like a home from home. The beds are extremely comfortable, the breakfast is delicious and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else! Lifts to and from the ferry are considered part of the service. So happy to return here after a... More
