We booked this venue for two nights. Despite living fairly locally we felt this was a great way to meet family of a wedding party we were involved in. I wish we had stayed at home!!! The reception area was unstaffed but dialling the number directed on the notice meant that a member of staff appeared in due course. On...

We had a meal at this hotel using their Senior Citizen's Diamond Card which allows you a carvery and limited dessert menu for a good price. Very good value for money. Good service and nice food. Well worth a visit. We will certainly return to eat and would recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Canterbury..

Stayed here for a couple of nights break in Canterbury. Booked family room and ended up in a 2 bedroom apartment. Nothing flashy but comfortable enough beds and quiet. City centre about 10 mins walk or so following the cycle path. Restaurant was ok with good portions and very welcome as we arrived quite late. Friendly helpful staff too.

Just returned from a short Monday to Friday break. Our first visit to this Hotel, pleasantly surprised. Very clean spacious rooms with en suite, tea coffee etc. Very friendly helpful staff. We ate all our evening meals there and very good they were too. The food was hot well cooked and we didn't have to wait long either and the...

Very friendly and welcoming staff, spacious room and large en suite bathroom. Large free car park and within walking distance of the City Centre. Looking forward to visiting again as we did not quite see all that Canterbury and the surrounding area had to offer

To be fair, the room was clean and the staff friendly when we saw them. If all you care about is a place being clean-this one works for you. They promptly came to the reception desk when called, and they stored our luggage for a few hours even after we checked out. The beds were comfortable, warm comfy blankets. Good...

Stayed for 2 nights over the weekend. I liked the style of the time - low building with a nice garden around and nice car park. Got a double bedroom, large and very comfortable with windows towards the garden - nice view ! The Room with old furniture but clean and well kept - Nothing was missing - I like...

In British terms, you get reasonable value out of the Victoria Hotel, although for those such as me more used to continental Europe, it is rather surprising how much more you get there with the pound at current levels (2015). At the Victoria the room is clean enough, and the night's sleep fine. Niggly things prevent a higher rating, however,...
