We stayed for one Sunday night and were really impressed with the location and overall stay. We had a room with a view overlooking the cathedral, which was lovely, albeit a little small, although it suited us perfectly. The check in was warm and helpful and the whole hotel was well looked after, extremely clean and well maintained. The Full...

Myself and husband and a few friends stayed here for 2 nights. Upon arrival we were given our room number and key , no direction to which way are room was or as we found out from other guest you get discount in Certain restaurants nearby , we were not told of this. We booked on site parking but were...

We really enjoyed staying in this hotel. It's location is absolutely perfect- right in the centre of the city, in the grounds of the cathedral. We were in the Burgate building, which is an annexe to the main lodge. They seemed quite anxious to know that we knew there were a lot of stairs! There are 3 flights in the annexe...

Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. All the staff we met were pleasant, efficient and friendly. The welcome is warm and you are given all the information you will need. There is free wifi and breakfast is included. We paid £5 for parking right outside. The room was spectacular, with a table and chairs looking out onto the Cathedral. Beautiful...

This was a fantastic location and great place to stay. Having come from a business meeting my husband and I found our stay so relaxed. The rooms are well equipped, not very big but quiet with magnificent views of the cathedral. The breakfast was fresh and the variety of choice excellent.

The standard of rooms, restaurant, reception and the grounds were outstanding. I cannot say enough about this place. The staff were super friendly, helpful and made you feel welcome the moment you walked through the doors. The breakfast service and menu is outstanding, and it being situated in the precinct of the Cathedral grounds was a plus. Amazing views from...

Visited cathedral lodge hotel or six of the most bleak cold days in February. Everything about our stay was a lovely experience. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Breakfast was first class with most attentive staff. Just one point. The bed was incredibly hard (evidently extra hard according to reception!). Not the best sleeping experience.

It was £12 entry however ticket lasts for a full 12 month which is pretty good. Really nice grounds including the school and priest lodging. Inside has beautiful stain glass windows and lots of information

We stayed for 2 nights on New Year's Eve for their Gala night. The situation of this hotel must be the best in Canterbury! The parking was right by the hotel unlike other hotels we have stayed at in the centre of the town which are in a public carpark. Room was lovely and comfortable as was the bed. Breakfast...

We were very impressed by the Canterbury Cathedral Lodge. Our room was modern, simple, but comfortable, and our being able to look out the window and watch the setting sun bathe the Cathedral in golden light was more impressive than the decor of much more expensive places we've stayed. Then there was the convenience of being able to enter the...
