My wife stayed at Canterbury Lodge for five nights in November 2016 and was delighted with the room (room4) and the exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent and the experience did exceed our expectations. We have stayed in many hotels and B&B's in Canterbury but this is the best by a country mile!! We will definitely be back.

Recently returned from a two night stay at the Canterbury Lodge. The location was ideal being just about a 10 minute walk into the city centre. Our room was at the front of the property a large four poster with a big shower en-suite. The only one thing I would say is that the mattress could have done with being...

Excellent service received from first arrival to leaving. Room was spotless and had a fantastic four poster bed. Breakfast was huge! Very tasty and catered to our vegetarian needs. We were even invited to leave our car parked there after we'd checked out, so we didn't have to find and pay for parking elsewhere. Fantastic, would definitely recommend!

We stayed at this B&B for 3 nights. Lisa, the owner is so lovely & welcoming - we even had a box of chocolates left on our dressing table! Rooms are very large, nicely furnished (4 poster bed!), tea/coffee making facilities, with modern en-suite bathrooms. Breakfast is very generous, offering full English breakfast, fresh fruits, yogurt, cereals, toast in a...

Have stayed at Canterbury Lodge (as Anne's House) on a few occassions over the past three years. As we were to attend a wedding near Canterbury my wife and I decided to stay here for our overnight visit. Not only did we get the normal friendly welcome but there have been a few changes made to enhance the comfort of...

Great B&B, easy to find, very easy to walk into town. Room was lovely, wood floors, 4-poster bed, French-style furniture, and a sharp modern en-suite. Room has all the amenities and sundries you'd see in a hotel. The place was full, but we didn't hear any noise from other rooms. Some road noise to be expected but not severe. Owner...

We had a friendly welcome from Lisa on arrival, and were shown to a lovely room at the back of the house (No 5) which had a four poster bed and very tastefully decorated. The shower room was modern and clean, with his and hers sinks. The bed was very comfy and we both slept well, and it was so...
