This is the very 1st time I've been inspired to write a hotel review. I stayed at the hotel last night with a friend after completing a cycling trip around the North and South Downs. We were pretty demanding customers with all kinds of non-standard requests - last minute date changes, bikes to store and so on. I have to say I can't recall experiencing such consistently high levels of customer service anywhere outside of Asia before. Every member of staff we encountered couldn't do enough for us but special praise is reserved for front of house team member Radu (sp?) who was exceptionally attentive to our needs. Food was very good, rooms were nice with very comfortable beds. A real touch of class smack bang in the centre of Canterbury. I'll be back to stay with my wife!

What a fabulous hotel! From the prompt, friendly check in to the beautiful rooms (with gorgeous freestanding bath, and very comfortable bed) to the delicious breakfast - this hotel got everything right. It was really the extra details that made our stay special - for example, there were extra pillows on the bed so you could pick the softness you liked, and high quality bath and shower products. At breakfast the orange juice was freshly squeezed and the food was clearly freshly made. And the location could not have been more perfect for exploring Canterbury - right in the centre of town, with a convenient car park at the back. But as the room was double glazed there was no noise at night. Highly recommend!

Location is great. Food in the restaurant was very good. Room all in good condition. But the staff clinched it for us. Everyone we talked to was pleasant and professional. We got lucky and we arrived in time to park in hotel car park. Arriving late might be inconvenient in terms of parking.

Superb hotel in a central location. Staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really nice, we didnt use the restaurant for dinner but the menu looked very good. Bed was a bit soft but that is a pesonal preference. 100% Recommend.

A very good hotel in an excellent location in the centre of Canterbury a matter of yards from the Cathedral and other tourist locations. It is also surrounded by many bars, restaurants and shops. So a superb location for a break. The rooms are nice and the breakfast is highly recommended. Professional well trained staff making it a pleasure to stay at.
