Fantastic cocktail bar! Room dark with bathroom upstairs. Room clean but bathroom tired and could do with smartening up. Good beds and slept well. Location perfect for town and train station. Breakfast not great.

This is without a doubt a place you have to go if you want to get some of the best cocktails you will ever drink. They take real pride in their craft and do a great job of it. The bar itself is also absolutely beautiful.

Would have preferred an earlier check in time but other than that our stay was very pleasant. The room was small but clean and comfortable and although at the front of the Hotel was pleasingly quiet albeit it was a Friday night. Car parking was plentiful and secure. Rate included a full and substantial English breakfast. Would recommend.

This hotel is conveniently placed in the main high street, close to everything. Staff were very welcoming and showed me to my room. There is secure, private parking around the back. I stayed in one of the courtyard rooms. Very comfortably furnished. My bed was very comfortable, clean white sheets and towels. The room smelt fresh and clean. The bathroom... More

Great location at the edge of the centre of Canterbury. Most of the attractions within 5 to 10 minutes walking distance. Rooms are basic but fine. Some minor maintenance is required though. We had room 12 and the water tap for the bathtub did not work properly making showering less pleasant. Breakfast is excellent with friendly and helpful staff. Highly... More

My second time at this hotel, excellent service from the moment I arrive to checking out, five nights in all. Had to change rooms as the shower didn't work properly (it happens) but the staff was very helpful in finding me an alternative room and were very apologetic. Excellent breakfast every day as usual, good directions and advice about Canterbury... More

Appearance - the public areas of this hotel have been styled by someone who really knows their business. Rooms - generously sized and decently fitted out - more conventionally than the public areas. Staff - bright, cheerful, helpful and attentive. Food - good breakfast, whether continental or cooked. Lunches and dinners available, but we chose to eat out anyway. Seems... More

Probably the best cocktail bar in town. A long bar that has class and has been really well styled. A wide selection of drinks, nice atmosphere and the staff are friendly and efficient. There are also rooms upstairs if your visiting Canterbury
