This was our third visit and it gets better each time-we've already booked the next stay. Sandy and her staff are so welcoming and are always able to offer advice on places to visit and the local attractions. We normally stay in the Canterbury room but it wasn't available so were in the Mumbai this time. If I'm honest I... More

My husband and I have just returned from a lovely 2 night stay at house of Anges. We stayed in the Tokyo room which was comfortable and well decorated with everything you would need. The bathroom was lovely and modern with a decent shower. The whole room was very clean. TV was easy to operate with a good selection of... More

As you will see I have stayed in many places and written many reviews and I don’t think I have ever enjoyed a stay as much as this. The hotel is lovely, old, quirky and comfortable. The staff friendly, welcoming and helpful. We stayed for our wedding anniversary and spent 2 nights in the Venice room. I loved the fact... More

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in September. We had room 7 in the stable block. Lovely room, a short 30 second walk to the main building. Everything was spot on. Nice room, comfy bed and lovely bathroom with great shower. The trainline is right behind the room but actually after the first couple of times it... More

This is a perfectly situated nearly 600 year old building that is now a small hotel. Getting into the car park through a gate made for very small carts is the first problem--pay attention when they tell you to retract your side mirrors. When you get through the gate you can park in Canterbury's largest walled garden. It was a... More

on arrival we were very pleased with the Canterbury room the receptionist was very polite and showed us around the house, there were afew points it was fairly noisey due to being on the front road. But our sleep was disturbed by the guests above owing to the house being so old but on the whole it was a nice... More
