Anyone planning a visit to Winchester and the Itchen Valley area should arrange to stay at this top quality B & B. The hosts, Mike and Stephanie Gretton, are welcoming and delightful company. Their attention to detail is exceptional and the breakfasts perfect. Bridge House is first class in every respect

From start to finish our stay was a complete pleasure. Everything thing had been thought of in the room. Stephanie and Mike were the best of hosts, nothing was too much trouble. So comfortable it was hard to wake in the morning.

We had read the reviews on trip advisor and our expectations were high as we arrived, footsore and weary on the last leg of our walking holiday along the Three Castles Path. Michael greeted us warmly and we were ushered inside, to our beautifully appointed bedroom, with lovely toiletries and thoughtful extras, such as needle and thread and spare toothpaste.... More

A lovely warm welcome greeted us on our arrival at Bridge house. Stephanie's attention to detail is very impressive. Everything that we needed was thoughtfully provided. The bedroom was very tastefully decorated, warm and comfortable. Breakfast was beautifully prepared with lots of home-made goodies! We would highly recommend this home from home, and would very definitely stay there again.

We were greeted by Stephanie and given a lovely afternoon tea in the garden. The house is delightful, Mike and Stephanie were very welcoming and informed us of where to eat that evening and told us of... More

Echo all the other reviews, it was great to have all the bits and bobs you could possibly need at the ready. Comfy beds and lovely location. Breakfasts were just right with good nut free muesli and fresh fruit plus perfectly cooked eggs and the rest. Mike and Stephanie know the area well so can help with info on the... More

A simply superb stay! Bridge House is a wonderful place to stay: a beautiful house, a comfortable bedroom, a delightful setting, warm and welcoming hosts. We had a delayed journey down on M27 from Southampton but Mr Gretton greeted us with an afternoon tea and a delicious chocolate cake and shortbread. Our bedroom (the blue one) was lovely and very...
