I stayed here recently for one night, on a business trip. I was collecting guests the next morning from the nearby Lainston House (5 star, very beautiful and very expensive!). I have to say that Little Mead far exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped through the door of this lovely property, I felt welcome and at home. Alistair,... More

We thoroughly enjoyed this visitor who made things so easy for us. It would be really lovely to see him and his family here and to introduce them to the many delights Hampshire has to offer family visitors of all ages! More

The booking was made many months ahead and was also fully paid for. But on the day of arrival we left our hotel in Farnham at 11am for the 1 hour drive to this property near Winchester. However at 7pm we were still stuck on the motorway and all the roads to this property were inaccessible. We phoned the owners... More

This reviewer has already reviewed us once. On that occasion the review was removed by Trip Advisor on the grounds that the review did not meet their review guidelines. He has now created a new ID and repeated his review. We did not know that the music festival would cause him difficulty. We first knew of it when he contacted... More

In May 2016 we stayed at Little Mead Bed and Breakfast in Sparsholt near Winchester in Hampshire for twelve days. This was a real 'Escape to the country' experience. Beautiful home in a very quiet area, lovely hosts, nice room, a very good breakfast and two very friendly dogs. Excellent place to explore Hampshire. The nearby pub serves excellent food.... More

There were so many lovely things to enjoy about this visit. Not least was was the fact that the they never ran out of things to see and do, despite the fact that they stayed for a record 12 days. We are so grateful for their kind review! More

Although this venue is in a good location close to Winchester and walking distance to a great pub, there are a few things that stop it being top class. The room and en suite are quite small, with the shower cubicle somewhat restrictive. The breakfast is good, there is plenty of parking available, and the owners are very helpful.

We are grateful for this review and ww appreciated the photograph the reviewer took of our terrace where, when we can, we entertain our guests to tea (without charge) in good weather and as part of our commitment to make our visitors welcome. We really like to make our guests feel at home, offering them the use of our drawing... More

We arrived at this lovely house and was met by two sweet dogs and a wonderful garden. The house was lovely inside and really gave us an english countryside feeling. It is run by the sweetest most welcoming couple which was so nice talking to. They really show an interest for their guests that you hardly find elsewhere. And I... More

We are grateful for this review, It always gives us pleasure to learn that guests have enjoyed their stay. These were such delightful guests. Our B&B is 3.5 miles from the town and we hope that this always clear to guests from the site where they make their reservation. In addition, and unusually for a rural location, we have an... More

We stayed two nights prior to our cruise from Southampton. The B&B is only a few minutes to Winchester by car and is situated in a quintessentially English countryside setting. The room was comfortable with a lovely view of the garden. The private bathroom (just across the landing) was perfect. Breakfast was delicious and the menu provided us with a... More

Lovely couple with a lovely home that they 100% invite you into. I only had one issue with this B and B, the elderly couple that ran it made me feel guilty for sitting at breakfast whilst they cooked and cleared the table around us, it was like visiting my gran and sitting watching her do everything. The place is... More

We had two rooms for two nights at Little Mead. The area is gorgeous and the private garden there is beautiful. The en-suite bedrooms were comfortable, clean, and spacious The en-suite (bathroom for Americans) was modern and had all toiletries furnished. There was lots of hot water. We could hear nothing at night and slept like babies. Breakfasts were plentiful... More

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at Little Mead. We loved being out in the small village of Sparsholt. It was blissfully peaceful at night!
