We stayed in 2 very comfortable single rooms on SAturday night prior to making a day visit to a P&O ship. The room was very clean & the bed comfortable. An adequate bathroom but the shower could be better Breakfast excellent but service a bit haphazard took a long time to be served but there was a large party at one...

This was just an overnight stay prior to going on a cruise. The accommodation was very comfortable and the hosts very personable. The breakfast was good and we were given the facility of staying longer in the morning than expected so that we would not be too early in arriving for the cruise. The accommodation was conveniently placed for both...

Overall, a surprisingly good B&B. My room (no. 2) was a decent size, had a very comfortable double bed and a new capacious high pressure shower. The cooked breakfast was well done and there is a large lounge for guests. The hosts are very welcoming and amenable. The only minor downsides included confusion on arrival about whether I had already...

I stayed in this lovely bed and breakfast and Roddy and Jihea are superb hosts and very welcoming - there is a nice guest lounge so somewhere relaxing to sit other than your room if you are staying there for a few days Rooms are well designed and functional and the road is very quiet (but I did have a...

My wife and I stayed for 1 night. Roddy and Jihea were very welcoming and nothing was too much hassle. They catered for my wife's dietary needs and were more than willing to go above and beyond if necessary. Will definitely use again next time we go to Southampton.

After a bad experience three doors down thankfully we were able to book two rooms at this Bed and Breakfast. This place is really clean and has very comfortable beds and pleasant Landlords. The only reason I didnt give an excellent was a lack of a power shower. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend others.

As before it was clean, warm & quiet. We were double booked (as ourselves) and as we found out later on the day we left....we ended up with the smaller room of the 2 they inadvertently booked in our name. that aside, it was still lovely. the breakfast was as expected, (eat as much as you need.) We again, enjoyed...

A 2 night business stay. Usual B&B environment, but was clean, and we'll maintained. Didn't have the breakfast, but the bacon smelt lovely in the morning, made me wish I had. Also had plenty of parking including at back of property.

I stayed for 3 nights and had a single room. While very small, the room was clean and comfortable and was ensuite. The size of the room allowed a single room price which was good value for the solo traveller. Note, if you book directly through the Hunters Lodge website or by telephone, you get breakfast included. It was a...
