Been coming here for over 10 years it's one of the best sites we've stayed. It's great for all the kids, lots of stuff to keep them occupied on and off the site. Not far from the beach. We have nothing bad to say about the site, the staff go out of there way for you and are so friendly.... More

We booked here for four day break for October half-term and combined it with seeing our daughter at Uni in Southampton. Linda and Alan the wardens were very friendly and made us very welcome and were more than happy to allow us to leave our caravan on site on the last day over the usual time limit which meant we... I was a bit dubious about coming here because of several negative reviews, but thankfully I decided to judge for myself and i'm glad I did. We came here for 3 days at the end of October. Yes you have to drive around and find your own pitch, but in my opinion that's not a bad thing! We chose a... More

In serious need of an upgrade The only good things we can say is the reception staff are friendly and smile alot and the New Forest is right on the doorstep. The toilet blocks were cleaned regularly but being late in the season the site was not full at all. I would guess in the summer with 600 pitches things... More

Arrived here for one nights camping, in a 1970's VW campervan. Our first time on this type of holiday, found staff polite and helpful. We were allowed to find our own pitch, with plenty of pitches to choose from. The site has a small shop and take away available and toilet and shower blocks were clean and well looked after.... Caravan, awning , 2 adults and 2 under 5s Fantastic setting, beautiful countryside. Great site, quite big and does get busy on a weekend. Amenities are good, three large blocks with plenty of hot water. Shower block and toilets sometimes left in a mess but totally down to dirty campers, staff can only do their best! Site very natural and... More

Have just returned from a wonderful 4 day break at Holmsley with wife and grandchildren. I had read a number of mixed reviews about Holmsley so did not really know what to expect but I need not have worried. The site was easy to find, was well signed with directions for new arrivals, and is clean and well kept. It... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few nights midweek at the beginning of September. We read some reviews before we came and it put us off but we decided to give it a go anyway. We were told we could drive around to find a pitch and were given a map to follow. The map showed where the... More
