Jill the owner is a lovely lady really helpful and obliging, the room was very clean, although not the largest of rooms. The breakfasts were plentiful and cooked to order, using only best quality bacon and sausages etc. Jill had free wi fi, and a good selection of up to date brochures of Portsmouth and Southsea, she also had a...

Proprietor, Gill, welcomed me with a cup of tea on arrival and nothing seemed too much trouble during my stay. The very cosy room was spotless with a very comfortable king size bed. Small but very functional en suite, which reminded me of those facilities on cruise ships. The location is ideal for my visit to the Dockyard - but...

I emailed the friendly landlady upfront regarding early check-in, and they did their very best which was much appreciated. Rooms are very comfortable but compact and have a...

Gill the host was great, very informative on what routes to take into town and sights to see which was great for us as we just wanted to explore. Breakfast...

Gill greeted us with a cup of tea and plenty of info about Portsmouth. Our room (the only twin I think) was small but clean and attractive and quiet. We could walk to the sea in about 8 minutes and then pick up the old Portsmouth trail. If you are visiting the dockyard it's about a 20 minute walk or...
