We returned from Southsea Leisure Park on Wednesday 13th August 2014 after a 2 night camping stay. We found the staff pleasant, the facilities basic, but adequate and above all clean. This is my no means Pontins, Butlins or any other such holiday park, but as a base to explore the surrounding areas, is a great place. It was very...

Well where do I start with Southsea leisure and holiday park?? Well, there's definitely nothing leisurely about this place!! On arrival the sat nav told me I had reached my destination, however i wasn't sure as the site wasn't signposted the way I came in (although to be fair if I owned it I wouldn't want to advertise the place...

We booked the site as an overnight stay before catching the ferry in our small camper van but quite honestly, would risk a fine and sleep on the promenade road next time. The park is dirty and run down with showers that make you feel dirtier after you have used them. Soiled nappies were left in the sink for the...

So, after a three hour van journey I pulled up with few expectations, I'd read the reviews but thought I'd give it the benefit of the doubt. The reception was not obvious but the two ladies there, pleasant enough. Looking forward to a dip in the pool we wondered over after a failed attempt to erect our awning as mentioned...

1) Contrary to your brochure statement that there was an outdoor swimming-pool available May to Sept, there was NO available swimming-pool. We were advised that the pool had only ever been opened up for high season (ie end July to late Aug), and had always been like this for the last 6 years at least; 2) Hot water was ALWAYS...

Only stayed 1 night as the facility's are shocking and the ground to put your tent up is to hard it bent 21 pegs just to put it up. And they also have an ant problem all over our tent and on and around the bar / restaurant area. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

I Stayed here on 21/7/2014 & it was only the weather & the Beach that keep my Daughter,my friend, her grandson & myself here. 1) The staff are very rude, unhelpful & defensive & need training in people skills We arrived later than my checking time stated & was told to go away & come back later still. 2) it states it...

I really don't know why anyone would stay at this site knowing how run down, dirty and disgusting it is. We stayed a couple of nights in a tent and soon regretted it! Although the staff were ok with us we witnessed them being sarcastic to other visitors. After just an hour of pitching the tent on dry yellow patches...

I did not visit this site to stay in a caravan. I was a guest at a skittles evening. The first impression on entering is the function room is the disgusting smell of the toilets. The carpets had debris presumably from a previous function. The windows did not open and the frames and glass are filthy. A chair on a...
