Visited for 2 nights, room lovely and clean. Staff exceptionally helpful, pleasant and polite, nothing too much trouble. Night Porter, Wayne, very pleasant man, also couldn't do enough. Highly recommend for anyone to visit. This was our second visit - now looking forward to a third.

Had a lovely family occasion meal in the function room at innlodge. There were at least 20 of us probably more and the food was fantastic including steaks cooked perfectly. Very good portion sizes, nice surroundings, timings excellent, staff did a very good job. Praise very well deserved!

Two for lunch. Burgers acceptable but unremarkable. Beer was well kept. Very busy. Quite a queue just to order food. Staff very friendly and helpful. Close to the Eastern Road so convenient for leaving or going in to Portsmouth.

My in laws suggested a meal here this evening. I was dubious following a terrible visit a few weeks ago. That visit (on a Sunday) was awful. Our food, 5 adult meals and one child's meal, all came out cold, overcooked and barely edible. The place was extremely busy and we had to eat outside. So when my in laws...

We stayed @farmhouse inn for 2nights. It cost £130 for the 3 of us my wife and my son. That was room only. The room was fine, clean and tidy but it could do with a bit of a refurb but overall it was comfy. It is attached to a hungry horse so you can eat and have a drink...

Stayed with my partner for one night. The room was a good size and that's about the only possative point. The room was like a sauna after one shower, with the shower curtain being mouldy, the bathroom very dated and the whole room smelling of damp! Paid £95 for one night which Is extremely over priced for the quality of...

Booked here for Sunday lunch with my sister and her family as we thought kids play area would keep the children entertained , we were sat in a room which was probably used as a function room even though there were tables free in the restaurant and it was freezing cold as the double doors were open. Staff were not...

Recently stayed and were disappointed with the family room that we booked, the handles on the Windows had been snapped off leaving sharp metal handle stubs, quite a hazard if you have little ones with you! The shower curtain was unpleasantly smelly - urine smell. The Dated room was not so much a problem but the worn out curtains, light...

Sad because I looked at this hotel as a ending venue 22 years ago and it was very lovely. I read the reviews but can see the management team of this hotel are taking little, if any notice of the customer views. This hotel has seemingly has had a lack of basic maintenance for decades, lime scale on taps, old,...

What a delightful place, helpful staff, great food, rooms although getting a little tired, were of very good value for money, in fact one of the nicest budget hotels we have stayed at, and food was well priced also.
