We stayed for two nights as we were attending a wedding. The room was charmingly small, but to be expected giving the age and character of the building and town. If you want genuine Cotswolds then this hotel is for you. I was most impressed with the helpfulness of the staff. They even kept the breakfast service going later than... More

A gorgeous period building in this charming large village. The staff were welcoming, and the room, though compact, was delightful. We appreciated the extra touches, such as fresh milk and fruit being available. My only criticism is that perhaps the mattress needs changing, we found it a little lumpy. Breakfast was great. I would stay again.

We stayed here on the last night of our Cotswold Way walk and could not have been a better place to stay. We were in the 'Almsbury' double room with a private terrace with lovely views. The staff were very friendly & breakfast was excellent. Great value for money and would definitely stay again.

This is a delayed review, I think we stayed at Wesley House at the beginning of the year. We went for a set meal and wine tasting which was excellent. The room looked magical with gorgeous branches with lights on. The food was delicious and the person who gave the talk on the wines was entertaining and interesting. Our room... More

A private retirement dinner for family and colleagues was made extra special by the delicious food and helpful, discreet staff. The conservatory was very comfortable and although tight for 19 the U shaped table worked well and made conversation easy. I would thoroughly recommend it

My husband and I stayed at Wesley House for three nights recently. Our room was small but comfortable and adequate for our purpose. We did not dine in the restaurant as it was closed for two of the nights we were there. However, the breakfasts were excellent. There was a good choice and it was served to our liking by... More

I stayed at Wesley House for one night while hiking on the Cotswold Way. It's a very old oak-beamed building, and full of character. The staff were all friendly and helpful, both on the telephone and in person. Our room was very quaint; small but comfortable, and well maintained. There is a comfortable bar / communal area by the front... More

I took family visitors from the US for a meal here as I knew they'd like the characterful old building . All our dishes were delicious - good to look at, beautifully cooked with interesting and carefully chosen components. To this add tasty little canapes, unusual breads, a good wine list, nice tableware, views of the Cotswolds from the conservatory... More

The meal we had was good but there was no atmosphere there were only 6 people I n the restaurant and no back ground music so very quiet 1 table still had to wait over an hour for their meal it was a week night so maybe more atmosphere at the weekend when busy.

'Quirky' is the best way to describe the place. The rooms are cutesy and reasonably well equipped but very small. The bar and restaurant are pretty good, in fact much better than I had expected of such a small hotel. Service is excellent, very friendly and helpful. The main downside is the lack of parking due to the high street... More
