On arrival at this splendid mansion overlooking the Gloucestershire countryside, we were greeted by the owner David dressed up as the butler from Downton Abbey, which kind of set the tone for our stay. (In fact it was not for our benefit but for a village event that evening). The place is spacious and comfortable, with an old world charm... More

We recently stayed at North Farmcote B&B and despite returning to our lovely New Forest, we were all a bit sad to leave this wonderful place. This is a beautiful B&B in truly stunning location. The farmhouse is made of beautiful, warm local stone and has lots of history. The whole house has a welcoming feel to it, partly due... More

We stayed here for one night two weekends ago and will definitely be back. The owner (David) greeted us on arrival with Jodie, the very friendly black labrador. We were going husky sledding the next day at Arctic Quest in Tewkesbury and because we needed to be there early David offered to make us breakfast at 6:30 which is much... More

North Farmcote B&B is in a very quiet peaceful area of the Cotswolds close to the town of Winchcombe. It is a lovely country house on a working farm that offers magnificent views across to the Malvern Hills and beyond. Our warm room was large with a very comfortable bed and a lovely hot shower. Waking up to the sounds... More

This quaint, traditional accommodation was filled with character and warmth. The host was attentive and provided an excellent breakfast. Don't expect the clean cut precise nature of modern hotels, but if you're after a authentic Cotswald experience I couldn't imagine anything superior.

Charming owner and very nice room with the rising sun shining in and a lovely view of Cotswold ewes with their brand new babies. A bi plus was the tasty breakfast. The bedroom was warm and the shower worked perfectly. We took our 2 Labradors and they were rather scared of the lion skin with its head still attached which... More

This guesthouse is so lovely. The views are to die for. If you want tranquility you will find it here, despite the fact that it is a working farm....sheep don't make much noise. Our room was a delight - large and beautifully furnished and the towels were fluffy and the toileteries everything that one needs plus some. David, our host... More

What a wonderful place to stay, down a quiet country lane, surrounded by beautiful countryside! On arrival we were met in the driveway by David and once settled in our large room, we were served tea and biscuits in a lovely lounge room with sun streaming through a large window. David was a great host and nothing was too much... More

We stayed with 2 labs this Easter who fortunately, were not interested in the lion rug. The room was clean and pleasant and the full cooked breakfast was very satisfying. Everything was served on what looked like Royal Doulton / Spode china. We liked the way breakfast was served around the dining table so you could chat with fellow guests -... More
