We stayed for one night and had an amazing meal. It is a beautiful Cotswold building in a very quiet location. Beautifully decorated rooms and a very comfortable bed. We enjoyed sitting on the lawn having a glass of wine. There was a cosy bar for a pre dinner glass of champagne. The food was incredible and we enjoyed a... More

Stayed for 2 nights and cannot fault this wonderful hotel. From the moment we arrived we were looked after to an exceptional standard. Our room was extremely comfortable with every luxury we required. The restaurant was sublime my husband is very discerning when it comes to fine dining and he commented the dinner on the second evening was one of... More

There was a lack of attention to detail and for the prices charged this should have been better. I have a life threatening cheese allergy. I told them on booking and on arrival and later again before dinner. The canapes arrived with 'cheese' on them then one of the meals came with Parmesan..... it could have been a disaster and... We had a delightful stay in this hotel for our wedding anniversary. The area is gorgeous - Cotswolds at their very best. The hotel staff were brilliant - we had an issue and they responded incredibly positively and sorted it for us. The restaurant was everything we had hoped for - fantastic food, beautifully presented. Stay here - it is... More

We were staying one night for a special family birthday. The service was really quite poor - pretty much everything we asked for was mis-understood! The room we were staying in was pretty dated too, with paint peeling off the bathroom ceiling. The world of upmarket hotels has really moved on and it is as if these guys just haven't... More

We stopped off for lunch on our way to Devon as it was an ideal location to break our journey. The Reception and Service were professional. Lunch in the garden on a beautiful sunny day - what could be better? Starter of locally smoked salmon, herb salad and lemon - lots of smoked salmon on the plate. Followed by Platter... More

Just stayed two nights in this hotel. Idyllic setting and we were blessed with excellent weather. On arrival,we were greeted at the door by reception staff and porter. We had the tasting menu for dinner on the first night which was exquisite. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Service on our first night was top class.... More

We went for middle week break on recommendation of family member to this hotel. The ground is lovely, quiet position and hotel looks very beautiful from outside. Unfortunatelly, our room was tired looking and in need of redecoration. The mattress wss saggy , uncomfortable , pillows and duvet synthetic very poor quality. I have expected much better quality from this... More

A delightful stay in the Cotswolds in a hotel boasting a quality Restaurant. The hotel room was small and lacked those final touches which could so easily be addressed by careful management. It was here that we felt that the quality and interest in the job was not as thorough as one would have hoped from the the staff. The... More

Attended a wedding here in early July, what a fabulous setting and very classy hotel. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, however they were a little warm during the night with few windows able to be opened. The breakfast was probably the only disappointment, the continental side was great but the cooked was not, cold poached eggs - not... More
