Went on a two days for one + 1 dinner offer. This was good value although to be honest I'm not sure that I would have thought so at full price. Our room was comfortable, very warm and very clean. The staff we met were all professional and friendly. For me the only disappointment was the evening meal. It was... More

We decided to stay at The Close to catch up with some friends and our two daughter who live close by. Our room (Deco) was delightful, quiet and spacious overlooking the garden. We met our friends in the bar area in the afternoon for a drink and chat. After a good rest our daughters joined us for a relaxing and... More

This is our third time staying at The Close and we look forward to visiting again. It's always very clean, cosy and welcoming. The reading room is lovely, with comfy chairs, a log fire and lighting that make you want to snuggle up and doze! A car park barrier has been installed since our last visit and that gives a... More

For our third Anniversary we wanted to splash out on somewhere luxurious and special.
