This hotel is very convenient for the railway station and central Stroud. The staff were attentive and helpful, and the general atmosphere was pleasant. My room was spacious and clean, though a bit on the cool side during a spell of cold weather. It had warmed up by the morning, so perhaps the heating had just been switched on the...

I visited Stroud two months ago with my mum. We decided to stay in the Imperial Hotel as we read and saw on the Internet the services it offers. The hotel is located in the city centre, close to every single monument to visit in the city. Near the shopping area, which is fantastic. The room and the hotel in...

Great value and very clean with extremely helpful staff. The breakfast is superb. I only stayed one night on a recent trip but I'll definitely be back. The station is very close and there are plenty of taxis nearby , so the Imperial makes a very good base if , like me, you want to explore the area.

I am going to be very honest... the room was ok. Other than that, these guys really need to sort out their management skills! We booked a table as a large group and the food took over 1.5 hrs to come out. All my we ordered were mains! Eventually my wife went up to the room as both our young...

We are not going to respond to your review as we consider it pointless. Only two things you forgot to mention and we want to share with the trip advisor community: 1- Your aggressiveness towards one of our customers of which we have enough evidence in our CCTV cameras (this has been reported to the police) and your lack of...

Excellent central location. Room very clean, efficient check in. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast. Quiet despite proximity to station. Slight backache after what was a good nights sleep. Bathroom light failed but only in morning. Recommend for a convenient B&B when in Stroud

I decided to stay here to try the Thai food, but was disappointed to be told the restaurant was closed on a Monday on checking in. I have revisited the website and found under a list of items that they do confirm this, but a pity it was not highlighted better, also unusual for a hotel to not offer food...

Stayed for one night B&B and we were pleasantly surprised by the size and standard of our room. Very clean and comfortable. We raised a few queries with the staff who were very helpful. Breakfast was cooked well and nicely presented. Car park is quite small but we had no problem finding a space.

If you're in the car, there's only approx 10 spaces in the Free car park, so be aware - there's ample space in the (charging) adjacent station car park though. Good, clean hotel with pleasant helpful staff. Breakfast A1. A bit dated in design, but that's Stroud for you 😃
