We stayed here for one night in the bijoux but very comfortable room at the top of the 3 flights of stairs. You can not fault the friendliness of the hosts or the delicious breakfast. It was a great stay. Parking is on the street outside and shops just a short walk away. Would certainly recommend - thanks Jim

Stayed here for one night (not long enough) on our annual visit to the Cotswolds, what a great find thanks to trip advisor. The room was lovely, large but cosy and clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, breakfast was a delight, fresh fruit and cooked bacon, eggs etc, served nice and hot. Beautiful old building sympathetically kept but with all... More

one of the best B&Bs we have stayed in Jim and Carol are excellent hosts, lovely comfortable room, and a superb breakfast cooked to perfection.Nothing was to much trouble for either of them, next time we are in the area we will definitely stay with them again, p.s. yellow card Jim for forgetting Derek's tea bags. Quite the best B&B we have stayed in. We had attended a funeral and Number Nine was a complete antidote. Superb, relaxing, spotlessly clean bedroom, fantastic breakfast and brilliant hosts. We will certainly be going back. Thank you so much James and Carol for your cheerful hospitality.

Jim and Carol were hospitable and hilarious, amusing this Australian as well as English and American guests. What happens to aging Manchester United Supporters? They become B&B hosts in the Cotswolds. Despite being 70, Jim dealt with our heavy luggage up difficult stairs to the 2nd floor. After a long walk, it was wonderful to soak in a hot bath.... More

One of the best B & B's I have stayed in, very old building but scrupulous clean and inviting. This is an old coach house with spiral staircases right to the 3rd floor, floor boards creek, and low ceiling dominate the bedroom on the top floor - but what a wonderful atmosphere, plenty of hot water and everything else you... Jim and Carol are relaxed welcoming hosts and their house a pleasure to stay in. OUr room on the second floor was spacious and nicely furnished, even the downhill run to the bathroom was lovely - it went with the beams. The bed a dream. The breakfast was top-notch, and - one morning when we accidentally slept in - they... More

I can't say enough good things about this place. The building is about 200 years old and still has character. It is a small B&B with only threes guest rooms. Our room was on the first floor (second floor American) and was quite large with a king-size bed in it. Everything was clean and comfortable. Our room had a couple... More

We recently had two nights booked at the Number Nine, rooms that we had booked and had received confirmation on since September 2015. Upon arriving at the guest house we were told there was no reservation held for us even though we presented them with the printed email confirmation. They told us, "Sorry, all their rooms were already booked for... More

When we departed I think Jimmy said we had stayed with them longer than anyone had, and I am proud of that. We used Stow as our anchor place as we explored the Cotswolds. Jimmy and Carole and their fierce spaniel were perfect hosts. I could not rate them any higher. Great location and top notch hospitality. One complaint, however.... More
