We stayed here 2 nights for my birthday in December. The room they gave us was not suitable but they were happy to move us which we were very grateful for. The food was very nice and we ate there 2 nights, breakfast delicious and would be happy to return as dog friendly.

We stayed at their boutiques lodge next door. We went for a meal on arrival. Food and drink lovely. All the staff were courteous and service was brilliant. A special thank you to the gentleman who was front of house the night we visited. (Last night). Sorry didn't get his name. He showed us to our room in the stag...

We called into The White Hart today for Sunday lunch. A warm and cosy pub with a friendly atmosphere. The sunday lunch wasn't the cheapest but I think it was probably the best I have ever had. A very enjoyable visit.

On a freezing January day it was wonderful to walk into a warm cozy pub with log fires and a smiling face. Well kept real ale, a menu that offers all the standard choices but with the imagination to turn a sandwich into a treat, a burger to the next level. Home made pies, fresh local vegetables and interesting vegetarian...

Booked a table as we had heard it was very popular. Service was very poor and the dining room was cold. The food was very disappointing and there was no specials board available as advertised. We had invited friends to join us and we were very embarrassed by the whole experience. We will not be going back again.

Whilst staying at the adjoining Stag Lodge we enjoyed an evening meal at the White Hart. The menu lists very 'hearty' food with a good variety of dishes. We aren't vegetarian, vegan or gluten intolerant so didn't really notice if there were any suitable options. For starters we ordered bread and oils and devilled kidneys. The good bits were portion...

We visit Stow from Bicester on a fairly regular basis. Apart from its obvious attractions, Stow itself is very dog friendly and your furry companion will be made welcome in a large proportion of the shops, pubs, cafe's and restaurants. This makes it a great place to visit in Winter or bad weather. Over the years, we have eaten in...

Easy and relaxed place. Not eaten here for years and enjoyed ourselves. Nicely decorated in a stylish manner. We had soup which was gorgeous and the anti pasta plate which was exactly not so great. Nice breads though. The main thing I didn't like was the toilet for men being outside. It was freezing in there and I think they...

We visited after a long day driving around the Cotswolds. We did pre book which was a good shout as it was full by the time we left. The open fire and traditional decor was really welcoming and cosy. We ordered the antipasti to start (huge) followed by burgers which were superb, food piping hot and tasty. Would definitely visit...
