Spend one night in this hotel, the room was really large clean and comfortable and even had a patio. Restaurant was great breakfast really good and had dinner in the restaurant which was also excellent. Directions to location on website were great and it is well situated in the Cotswolds, Temperature was taken at check in and spa and bar were both closed, although staff did serve drinks, so like many places adversely affected by COVID and with some of the rooms being away from main building think it would be a better place to stay in the Spring/Summer than November. Would definitely stay here again if in area, as in good weather with open spa would be excellent place for a base to come back to at the end of a busy day.
Covid-19 safe temperatures taken at check in. Good choice and variety for breakfast. Dietary requirements accommodated on request Very large room in the Orangerie away from the main hotel building only downside is some traffic noise Walks around the grounds and walkable to Bourton on the Water and Lower Slaughter Staff helpful and attentive We will definitely return at a different time of year and hope to see the hotel after Covid when it's bustling with guests
After our trip to Turkey was cancelled due to COVID we needed cheering up and Wyck Hill House more than did that! Starting with their welcoming staff, a champagne cream tea and a fab spa massage. Very large comfortable room in the coach house. Drinks in the Library followed by a wonderful dinner in the conservatory, one of the three relaxed spacious dining rooms with friendly attentive staff - food was delicious especially the duck would thoroughly recommend that. A comfortable nights sleep and a hearty breakfast before heading reluctantly home. We will be definitely be heading back here (Boris willing!!)
From check in to check out customer service was first class throughout the hotel. Our room was in the main building and was very comfortable, warm, welcoming and serviced every day. The restaurant staff were so professional and nothing was too much trouble for them. Both my wife and I had treatments in the Spa and again fabulous service and excellent treatments. I have read many reviews about Wyck Hill House and to be honest I find the negative comments difficult to understand. If you visit make sure you take some time to relax in the library next to a roaring fire its just the perfect place to chill out. Great location to visit Stow and the surrounding Cotswold Countryside - it was just a shame that the weather did not match the experience of the hotel stay. We stayed for three nights and it was excellent - thank you Wyck Hill House....…
A lovely relax and very welcome breakaway from normality! Can’t fault the staff they couldn’t have be more helpful and genuinely cheerful. The food was amazing and spa treatments fantastic.. basically nothing bad to say at all. Well done Wyck Hill House xx
