My partner and I decided to have a little trip away to the Cotswolds. We did a 'little tour' and stopped at most of its towns. This by far was the best stay. The room was spotless, clean and inviting. The decor was really quirky and boutique and been thought with great taste. We decided to eat at the restaurant... More

My husband and I stayed here last Friday night as an early 30th wedding anniversary treat. We had seen a review in a national newspaper and thought it looked really nice - we were not disappointed!! We had a really friendly welcome, and were shown to our room (room 6). It was a beautiful room, overlooking Sheep Street, up on... More

Newly refurbished hotel, apparently only open since 1st July. Beautifully decorated throughout - lovely dining room and bar, and great terrace at the back with a good range of tables and sofa type seating. Tables also out front but on busy road with cars parked alongside - never saw these being used! Room was generally good - clearly newly refurbished... More

Today my partner and I visited a restraunt in stow on the wold for lunch. Food was excellent however, there was a welsh gentleman as our waiter who had his hands full but did a excellent job looking after us. He was doing pretty much all the work there, with a lot of us to attend to he juggled it... More

We booked a single night at the Sheep due to its central location in Stow on the Wold. The hotel has recently been completely refurbished and is busy with local visitors as well as those staying in the hotel. Our room (Room 12) was at the top of a narrow and quirky staircase and was beautifully appointed. A number of... More

We decided to get away for a few days having had to cancel our foreign holiday through a family member being taken ill. We decided to go to The Cotswolds as we hadn't been for nearly thirty years! The hotel was picked mainly for its quirky name! When we arrived we were delighted with our room (at the front overlooking... More

The four of us (my husband, my two teenagers and myself) booked in here as the menu seemed quite varied and had something for all of us. Really nice bustling atmosphere here. Seated immediately by friendly staff. Seemed to have quite a lot of locals eating, too which is always a good sign. We ordered three bar nibbles to split... More

We booked this place on a whim having just organised a university reunion after ten years. It really was a good place to stay for a catch up! It had lovely clean rooms with well equipped bathrooms and a great coffee machine. the staff were really genuine and seemed like local hires. The actual location is great for exploring Stow-on-the-Wold... More
