We’re a bit of rare breed amongst Cotswold hotels. And we think, if you’ve got it... flaunt it. Sitting very prettily in the “Queen of the Cotswolds” village of Painswick, our picture-perfect Palladian house is your new (and rather swanky) home-from-home. Presenting roaring fires, sink-into-me sofas and sweet sixteen bedrooms where peaceful slumber beckons you... counting of sheep not required. Location? Pssst... it’s jaw-dropping. We’re snugly nestled into the hillside, where rolling valley views and cheeky cocktails are calling you to the terrace. There's the best in bold and vibrant food for feasting on, fawning over and sharing... And yes, it's more than Instagram-worthy, too. Curl up, kick off those wellies (or Manolos) and treat yourself and a pal to the delicious decadence of a Painswick Afternoon Tea... or, for a different kind of treat, unveil a gorgeous new “ewe” with a dreamy treatment or two. Fancy an exclusive shindig? We’re all yours for the taking, so polish up your par

A very enjoyable lunch with friends, food very good, service good and ambiance great. The dining room in this old house is spacious, and the tables well spaced to allow for conversation to flow, none of that quiet dining room feel.
