Very comfortable stay in a home full of character. Iris was an excellent host and we couldn't have wanted more in the hearty breakfast with such tasty homemade bread. We were in the four-poster and although the bed was a little soft for me, we enjoyed the quirky room, sloping floor and en-suite hidden in the wardrobe. The shared table...

Iris set me up right. The room was comfortable. The shower was perfect. The dogs were welcoming then quiet. I felt right at home with my tea and then hot chocolate before bed. She managed my breakfast requests (no more meat) with some good organic food. And then sent me on my merry way.

Very centrally located in quaint and pretty Painswick. The couple running the B&B were very friendly, providing lots of local information and suggestions for places to visit and eat. The rooms differ in size. The room we had was small but comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities were available. The bathroom with shower was small but fine. Wifi in the...

Elizabeth (interim innkeeper) was very welcoming, even with our muddy boots. The B&B is in a nice, quiet location near the center of town- an easy walk to dinner at a local pub. Breakfast was mostly organic, with homemade jams and freshly baked bread. Bed linens were fresh and clean, and the shower had plenty of hot water. Nice selection...

Our group of three couples stayed here 2 nights and were well looked after by Iris. We arrived soaking wet and she had a place in the front hall with a heater for all our wet things plus newspapers for wet boots. Breakfast was good- mostly organic and local.

Delightful little B&B in the heart of Painswick. Stayed one night, slept very well in the four-poster bed and liked the quirky bathroom in a closet. Enjoyed a very tasty full English breakfast before heading to the fantastic farmers market in Stroud. Both highly recommended!

We received a lovely warm welcome from Iris and enjoyed a really delightful stay in a quintessential antiquated British Country B&B. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys B&Bs. Thank you Iris for being such a great hostess.

I stayed with my partner and his grandmother, we found the facilities excellent. We were made to feel extremely welcome after a long day at Cheltenham races. Clean, comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay again.
