Our group of three couples stayed here 2 nights and were well looked after by Iris. We arrived soaking wet and she had a place in the front hall with a heater for all our wet things plus newspapers for wet boots. Breakfast was good- mostly organic and local.

Delightful little B&B in the heart of Painswick. Stayed one night, slept very well in the four-poster bed and liked the quirky bathroom in a closet. Enjoyed a very tasty full English breakfast before heading to the fantastic farmers market in Stroud. Both highly recommended!

We received a lovely warm welcome from Iris and enjoyed a really delightful stay in a quintessential antiquated British Country B&B. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys B&Bs. Thank you Iris for being such a great hostess.

Lovely room, Iris was very helpful and freindly. Made me a fantastic packed lunch instead of breakfast. The room was lovely and clean and the bed comfy, the local pub served excelent food too Would stay again.

I stayed with my partner and his grandmother, we found the facilities excellent. We were made to feel extremely welcome after a long day at Cheltenham races. Clean, comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here last week for one night en route to a family visit. We had the four poster bedroom, which had a surprisingly comfortable bed and very good quality bed linen. One of us found the wardrobe shower/loo set up a little cramped, but don't let this put you off staying here as everything else was really cosy and... More

This is a very quirky house on a side street in this lovely village. Parking was quite difficult. The pictures are not a true reflection of the bedrooms and we decided against the four poster room because of the shower and toilet in a cupboard. Having said this, the bedroom we stayed in was OK, with a good clean bed and... More

Wonderful welcome, owner didn't care how muddy and wet I was from walking the Cotswold Way. Good bed and shower, and breakfast was a highlight: homemade bread and plum jam, fluffy scrambked eggs, locsl organic sausages.

I had a wonderful stray at St Anne's recently. It was only a quick stopover, and i was very tired after a long journey, but i was made to feel very welcome and relaxed. Help was there if I needed it but in a very non intrusive way, so I felt comfortable doing my own thing. very comfortable bed, and... More

My work colleague and I stayed here on the 25th June. A wonderful welcome and very comfortable rooms. Far more available than I've had in many hotels and what a comfortable bed - I didn't want to get up! Breakfast was fantastic, nothing any trouble. I'd thoroughly recommend and would love to return. thanks Iris.
