The hotel is in the heart of the town and bursting with character and history. There is plenty of space in the public rooms and there is an attractive outside courtyard where food and drink can be consumed when the weather is good enough. The staff could not be more pleasant. Menu is good, contemporary and not over-complicated. Coaching Inn... More

I visited this hotel on a business trip and apart from the very slow wifi and lack of phone signal, due to the 2 foot thick walls, I found it a great place to stay. The bar and restaurant are well stocked and the all staff was excellent. Behind the scenes the place is really quirky with sloping floors and... More

The lower part of the hotel remains 'old' but modern at the same time with everything of a high quality. There are also stories of the history and Charles 1 visiting here many years ago. Bar area is good, restaurant is really good, and other rooms where you can sit and relax are also very good. We had a nice... More

Really enjoyed our two nights here. The staff were excellent the rooms we had were great. 307 and 308. Would highly recommend and would stay here again. The restaurant was great and the food was brilliant.

Stayed there two nights with my family as a gateway to the Cotswolds. I found the room large enough for the four of us. Beds were large and comfortable. We especially liked the restaurant, which offers more than just the usual English pub food. You'll be staying in a house of the 16th century, so expect the floor and walls... More

But if a poor show as far as the room was concerned. I bought a Superior Double room but was given a room that was far from superior. The information given on the hotel website for the room we booked was certainly not for the room we were given. Fire alarm (false alarm) went off at around 6:30 on Saturday... More

We had a great stay in Morton-in-Marsh. The hotel is well located and the staff provided great service. The breakfast was good but towards the end of breakfast hours they would run out of croissants. Unfortunately the room felt musty and damp.

We had a few unfortunate things with this stay. The hotel itself was very well presented but our room was disapointing. Firstly - three adults staying with only two bathrobes and towels which we didn't realise until the next day so my son had to use a hand towel to dry with. The room was really hot so we opened... Thanks very much for a great night. We had a lovely room, big bed and very clean. The breakfast very nice and freshly made. The location was fine to visit the Cotswolds and it's surrounding villages and sights.
