Wow! Had a wonderful two mights stay. Food was great. Lots of choice. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was lovely. We stayed in room 21. Lots of stairs to get to room. Lower ground rooms where family stayed were easily accessible. Gardens were stunning. Highly recommend this hotel.

If you intend to book this place get the management to confirm the boiler is functioning! When you pay £400 a night you don't expect to sit around in your coat waiting for an engineer to pitch up to rectify a faulty unit ! Awful experience . And if you bring your dog remember the place is "dog tolerant" and...

Just returned from a few days at The Manor House Hotel. It is a very characterful hotel but still warm, clean and comfortable. Our room, number 16, was a good sized double aspect room with comfortable armchairs. The lemon shortbread was a nice touch and fresh milk was delivered speedily when requested. The evening turn down service operated efficiently while...

This was the 3rd time we have stayed in the hotel and the service has always been consistently very good. This time we only had food in the brasserie but it was of a very good quality I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel. It was a great relaxing place to stay for a few days.

We had two rooms booked for a Saturday night while we attended a wedding party held in the town hall. The hotel is a very old quaint building with the rooms built around a quadrangle garden which would be very pleasant in the summer. There are lifts, but the corridors are very tiny with quite a few steps to negotiate.If...

Wonderful meal enjoyed by six of my family, a mixture of menu but everyone thoroughly enjoyed their time. Excellent staff with attention to every detail. Very pleasant surroundings, our overall experience was a very pleasant one.

Stayed with a group of friends for two nights, (two nights for one deal). The rooms were booked by one of the party for all. Although this was a special deal..overall it was disappointing. The room my husband and I had (45,) was terribly small. The bed which was pleasant and comfortable took up most of the room. The duvets were...

We originally stayed at The Manor House 25 years ago for our Honeymoon and have returned several times during that period. We decided to spend a 3 night break at the hotel to celebrate our silver wedding and had the most amazing time. We stayed in Room 9, a very good 4 poster room with sitting area and bathroom which...

This was booked as a Christmas present from our daughters, and we added an extra night as the deal was two nights for one, including dinner on one night and breakfast on both. Well right from arriving at reception we were welcomed with a friendly smiley greeting. We were checked in, a brief summary of our booking and a brief...
