From the very outset Tim and Jon were both proactive and supportive in the planning process for our big day. Glorious sunshine and guests in good humour, which continued throughout the day and into the evening thanks to the attentiveness of the staff and the quality of the food

Were were a large group with both adults and children, and there were sufficient options to suit all. Service was a little slow with a couple of small hiccups, but the minor issues were sorted out and we had a delicious meal.

We spent a long weekend in Cotswold. The hotel is perfectly located in a quite area, with space for parking a few steps from the centre of Cirencester. It is a listed building but treated with a lot of care so it keeps its beauty trying to be very functional. Our room was on the

Dear G3553llalessanddrop, Thank you very much for letting us know about your stay, and your kind words. We are overjoyed to hear that you have such a wonderful time with us. Dear Rasputinthemadmonk I was sorry that you had such a major issue with the noise from our bar area, which I understand you complained about to my staff at around 4pm in the afternoon. For the benefit of readers we only have two rooms above our bar and lounge, one being a four poster and the other a standard double that overlook our garden. Our bar closes at 11 pm and is generally quiet from 10 pm onwards. For guests that do require much quieter rooms then we have many to choose from, particularly our characterful attic rooms. Regarding your comment about your four poster room being tired, it is a 400 year old building and in order to retain its character and a bit of quirkiness we have purposely blended modern décor and amenities with a few older character pieces of furniture. I am not sure how you can label all our rooms as being tired when you only visited the one room. However, unlike the majority of our other reviews I very much regret that we were not able to meet or even exceed (our objective) your expectations. Regards, Tim
