Another gift voucher break and another very pleasant one nighter. The private car park right outside the door is very welcome, and it is immediately obvious the hotel is a fairly recent refurbishment, decoration being a very high standard and sympathetic to the Georgian building- modern where it needs to be, original where it doesn't. We found the room very...

We enjoyed our stay here, the place is immaculate but maybe a little soul-less. It is almost too clinical, no pictures on walls or curtains/drapes around windows, but very clean! The food lacked a little considering the cost (quite expensive) with soggy chips and limited amounts! The rooms were comfortable and we slept well, so a lovely stay!

We stayed 2 nights in this moderately priced but luxurious hotel. Everything feels 4 star. The food is excellent for breakfast, evening meal in the restaurant or a bar meal in the relaxing drinks area. A lovely 15 minute walk to the town centre.

This was a very nice place with great service, the food was very good and the location ideal , to walk into the centre of Cheltenham was about 10 mins to the promanade where the shopping centre is ideal.

My wife and I had a lovely weekend break staying Saturday and Sunday night. We found the hotel to be very clean and the staff were fantastic, they just couldn't do enough. Our room was in the basement it was small but very cosy. The location was very good too, about a 15 minute walk from the town centre. We...

Hi Vince, We are so pleased you had a lovely weekend break with us. Our standard double rooms are the smallest (yet cosiest!) rooms in the hotel - perhaps when you return upgrade to a superior or deluxe if you feel you'd like more space. Used hotel as an overnight stop whilst attending a family funeral. Clean and tidy with a vert comfortable room and high spec. shower. Breakfast had a good selection however the waitress had problems understanding us.

I stayed in Room 1, which was fabulous, everything was of a lovely standard. Fabulous to find a place I want a reason to re-visit. The styling is beautiful. All the meals I had were cooked really well, with the chef named and accessible. Even at breakfast there was a linen napkin and you don't get that very often, personable...

Travelled here as part of a business trip. Was very reasonably priced.... Check in was very simple and straightforward. We rang ahead to ask if possible to leave the car at the hotel prior to checking in. This was not a problem and made our stay easier so we weren't moving the car around town. Stayed in a superior room...

During jazz festival - far enough to have a great night sleep but close enough to join in for late night jazz sessions and party... we only stayed one night but everything was very pleasant and looked after by attentive staff. Thank you.
