A very nice hotel with car parking on site at the side. The hotel is set in a quiet location but still fairly close to the town centre. Being a smaller hotel, the reception area is not always manned, but the staff can always be located and are very friendly and helpful. There is no lift, so some rooms can... More

I was travelling on my own for business. This is a wonderfully friendly hotel (which is a plus when staying on your own). It was very clean and comfortable. The added bonus of this hotel is the great food and great service. I had an evening meal and the breakfast and both were superb and good value for money.

Stayed here for a night on stop off returning from Leeds. The hotel was easy to find and ample parking. The room was large and tastefully decorated (just been refurbished). The owner was really helpful and directed us for easy town access. Breakfast was excellent and staff were very obliging, plenty of selection for every taste. Definitely will stay here again... More

Scott, the manager possibly, I'm unsure, greeted us warmly and showed us our ground floor room. There were 4 of us staying in this room and there was plenty of room. The hotel is set in a quiet road and only 10 minutes walk to the town centre. The breakfast was perfect and one morning when we overslept, they were... More

After a very, very long walk (Cotswold Way ) we finally arrived at this beautiful historic building. Nice room, but hot. Trendy shower, but cold. That was a disappointment. The next day the shower was still cold, but it seemed to be fixed when we had to check out. Breakfast was oké. We waited rather long, but it was oké.... More

Dear Dydah. Thank you for your review, I am so glad you enjoyed your stay and I will certainly pass on your kind comments to all the team about how friendly you found them. I wish that you had asked us about the shower when you first arrived rather than waiting until checkout to tell us. There was nothing wrong... More

Lovely welcome from the staff, room was excellent but extremely warm! Limited drinks available at the bar but excellent wine list in the restaurant. Best thing about this place is the Italian good in the restaurant, absolutely superb with a wide range of choice

We stayed for 1 night in this charming hotel. It was once a house owned by the Duke of Wellington. There is free parking and it's within an easy stroll to the town Centre. Our room was extremely comfortable. There is a pleasant restaurant and bar and the food was excellent and good value. Our rate included a delicious full... More
