Great bedrooms and really good location for a weekend in Cheltenham with excellent service and wonderful breakfast. Also has really good facilities - spa and gym so everything catered for relaxing or work.

Have visited restaurant twice now, food delicious, service friendly and professional and very accommodating towards a young baby. Will definately be back and would highly recommend, a modern and appealing setting that is different to many surrounding restaurants.

Saw the review for this hotel in the local Echo. The photos of the food looked really good (which is to be expected) I fell for the photo of the starters which really were impressive, lots of seafood, but in reality the starters did not match the photos. My husband did well as he eats meat but I found it... More

We followed our satnav to our hotel, the Montpellier Chapter. When it said we had reached our destination, there was a hotel with a sign saying it was Malmaison. I was told the hotel had been bought by the Malmaison chain a month earlier. We brought our bags in and went to our very large room with a very tiny... More

First visit to Cheltenham and we chose this one for the location and free car parking. Our daughter rents in Montpelier and it was a short walk to hers and the town. We didn't move the car all weekend. Staff were very welcoming. The first room we were allocated was a bit smelly, they confessed to a problem with the... More

Well I hope Malmaison are doing a total refurb! We stayed here for a couple of nights as the Montpellier Chapter and would never stay again! The only light into the room was a small window in the door to the balcony, the "dressing table" mirror folded into the work surface so couldn't be used without banging your elbow on... More

Arrived early with the intention of parking and going for a walk and lunch before the 3pm check in but were greeted with if a room is ready you can have it now!!! The room we were allocated was still being cleaned so they found us another one and then went on to say that as it was our wedding... More

Stayed here for a work trip, and got a room that had a balcony. Fantastic upgrade!!! My stay was wonderful and quiet. The restaurant is wonderful and breakfast was always on point. Wonderful hospitality from a historic hotel that was close to everything I needed.
