I took part in the town's recent ukulele festival and had a very pleasant stay at the Cheltenham Lawn. The building is in the picturesque Pittville area of the town and doubles as a gallery for the owner's art work. Art works grace the breakfast room and there is a separate gallery space on the first floor. This gives the... More

We needed a place to stay before an event in the Cotswolds the next day. We had a lovely warm welcome upon arrival and were made to feel instantly at home. My mum and I had a room each and they were both fabulous. Lovely comfy beds, plenty of space, and both en-suite. Cheltenham centre is around a 10 minute... More

We stayed for a Saturday night in Cheltenham and appreciated the high standard of room and good location. The landlady was very welcoming and helpful. There is parking immediately outside and they provide a parking permit. We would stay again although the breakfast left a lot to be desired - there are only vegetarian options available and the eggs were... More

A last minute search for a one night stay in Cheltenham led me via a roundabout route to Cheltenham Lawn. What a serendipitous moment! The place is set, uniquely I think, in one of the great Regency parks of Cheltenham. You can really imagine the 19th century elegant ladies and gents, possibly with perambulators, strutting their stuff and jostling shoulders... More

Lovely well meaning couple running this establishment but did wonder why check in was after 1700hrs. The lady was very helpful when we arrived and we were shown to our room. The bathroom was tiny despite the fact that this was a superior double. The shower could barely cope with warm let alone hot water and this was tiny. The... More

Interesting little central place which is also a gallery for the owners art - paintings prints and tapestry Small bedroom with decent single bed - and many cushions!! Road noise from 5am meant I used earplugs for the rest of the night Miniscule shower room with tiny basin - slightly bigger one in the separate toilet "semi-en-suite" Parking on street... More

Stayed here overnight during the Cheltenham Jazz Festival having failed to get a room at a reasonable rate in the town centre, but was not disappointed in finding this one. Only 10 -15 mins walk from the centre in a quiet regency terrace, this characterful B&B was a perfect base for us. The owner is an artist so it is... More

brilliant little b and b just near the centre of Cheltenham town centre. I loved the atmosphere and would happily go back to see how the art works are developing. Rooms are comfortable and well provisioned. The owners were very nice and welcoming too. A great place to stay.

Delightfully friendly B&B, well-located within easy walk to city centre and Pitville Pump Rooms. Very comfortable room, plenty of hot water and generous in room teas and coffees / biscuits offering. Really enjoyed using Cheltenham Lawn as our base on a quick weekend away with an old friend. Were able to have two single rooms for a reasonable price, very comfortable and quiet, a great night's sleep. Loved all the original features in the house, which is full of character. Hosts could not have been more helpful.
