We had a lovely two night stay at Queens Hotel Cheltenham mid September 2020. Staff and location excellent. I paid for one of the top rooms which was worth the extra money. The hotel has an excellent system in place for Covid where you enter and leave through different doors and only go up in the lift and down the stairs, with hand sanitiser available everywhere. Good hotel parking available, £14 a day is ok if only staying a night or two.

Hotel's Favorite
The hotel have clearly thought of every way possible to keep the hotel clean and safe whilst offering an excellent service. The staff are working in challenging conditions- wearing PPE delivering meals to rooms ( if people prefer), clearly working much harder than their original job description required and yet they are professionally friendly with nothing too much trouble. We were warmly welcomed at reception, being told they were excited to have us as guests at the hotel. The one way system of moving through the hotel works seamlessly. Hand sanitisers strategically placed and discrete continuous cleaning of guest areas demonstrates the hotels commitments to guest safety. I was excited to be taking a short break to Cheltenham after lockdown, but slightly apprehensive at the risk involved. Thanks to ALL the staff at Queens hotel for making our stay enjoyable. It is different, but they are working extra hard to put guests at the heart of everything they do.

It is a absolute joy to read your review following your stay with us and it really left me speechless. Beautiful hotel in the heart of city centre, nr to Montpellier area . Had a lovely break at this hotel. Beautiful spacious room. Staff very friendly and efficient. Beautiful choice of breakfast . Felt very safe with the safety procedures in place at the hotel, due to the very difficult time that we are experiencing right now. Will definitely return to this lovely hotel. Can also recommend Brasserie Blanc for a lovely meal, adjacent to the hotel building.

We stayed for a couple of nights get away to recharge our batteries following Covid relaxations . Hotel , and staff were very COVID aware and compliant as was the service . All staff were wearing masks and there was an effective , well signed , one way systems in place for residents / customers , including an effective pre book/pre order system to control numbers in the restaurant for breakfast , which was excellent and well presented . Food and drink also excellent and well presented , with friendly service, in the restaurant for dinner . Menu was varied and reasonably priced for Cheltenham and venue. Reception and housekeeping staff dealt with my late ( after check in ) request for anti allergen bedding with a smile , even though the hotel was full and they had many such requests . They similarly changed our room for our second night when requested ( after noise from upstairs room disturbed our sleep on the first.) Overall a good value enjoyable short away break in a lovely part of the country .

A luxury hotel that does not feel it's part of a chain. The decor has retained the old class without compromising on modern and stylish additions. Location is hard to beat, walking distance to almost everywhere and surrounded by cafes and bars. Excellent bathroom and shower, small fridge in the wardrobe, bathrobes and slippers plus quality mattress.pillows and bed linen. My only complaint is that they could offer different pillows, not everyone likes the thick style. Over all though, we had an amazing 2 night stay and I would certainly go again.
