We stayed at the Beaumont House over the last weekend. This is a friendly, clean and comfortable place to stay and in an excellent position close to the town centre. Plenty of car parking space and a beautifully maintained garden. We were in room 12 on the 2nd floor with several flights of easy rising stairs to access the room.... More

We came here for our 7th wedding anniversary and stayed in the Out of Asia room. Lovely place to stay with great service. Would definitely stop here again. Garden area was nice to sit and have a coffee after breakfast before we went out exploring for the day.

Had a lovely couple of days here and everything was just perfect. Due to the hot weather, I asked for two fans and by the time we arrived, they had already fulfilled my request. I like the honesty bar and all the staff were very welcoming and ready to help in any way. Would certainly spent a few days here... More

There is nothing to fault here. Staff were friendly and polite. Rooms were more of hotel quality and standard. Lounge area is beautifully furnished and everywhere is spotless and clean. Breakfast choices are varied from the usual and not too over-facing.

We stayed here for two nights. We had the beautiful 'out of Asia' room. It had a very relaxing feel to it. The only slight problem was that due to the warm weather, we had our windows open. The traffic on the road was very loud at times. Maybe a room over looking the garden would have been quieter. Tea,... More

We stayed here last minute as an anniversary treat. We loved every second from the moment we arrived and were shown around the property by an extremely lovely lady, to the moment we checked out where we were offered a discount if we stayed again! The room was clean and exceptionally comfortable, there was a mini bar and fresh milk... More

As a member of a walking group, I've enjoyed (sometimes ) B & Bs all over the country. Beaumont House comes extremely near the top of my list now! It is set in a genteel area within 10- 20 minutes flat walk to pubs and restaurants. There is a good-size car park, and a well-tended garden with seating to enjoy... More
