Great boutique hotel with friendly attentive staff. Ideal for visiting the Cotswolds. Nice to stay in a non-corporate hotel. We had supper there which was delicious and served by Imogen who was delightful. Limited parking but permit parking available for hotel guests.
We spent a lovely weekend staying at this charming boutique hotel. Beautifully designed rooms and lounge areas. And the restaurant was delicious - every dish was a delight. The chef taking real pride in both taste and presentation. Every one of the staff was friendly and eager to help. I thoroughly recommend it.
What a beautiful place in the heart of Cheltenham ! From the decor to the back ground music ! Food and service was spectacular and the selection of wines spot on ! Nothing else to say but WOW 👏👏!!!!
As soon as we entered the building we were greeted by every staff member and felt really welcomed. We had the canapés and nyetimber champagne in the lounge, they had a beautiful selection of canapés. I ordered the scallops to start, the fillet of beef for my mains and the pistachio cheesecake for desserts they were all absolutely delicious and it exceeded my expectations. I would 100% recommended this place, I will definitely be back.
Had the most delicious meal, welcomed with some amazing canapés and champagne and the service from when I walked in was exceptional, Felt like royalty! 100% coming back, The best new place in Cheltenham!
Loved it! So beautiful! Loved the bed with all the pillows, the nice touches and the giant silver bathtub that included bath salts. Slept so well here. Breakfast was lovely too! Easy walks to good Indian food and some of the sights. In a nice area and across from a park.
What a lovely boutique Hotel. Our room was very spacious and clean, nice comfy bed and pillows. Breakfast was cooked to our liking, good selection of cereals, fruit etc. Staff were very friendly and professional. I would recommend staying at this hotel, short walk to the park and the town centre.
Recently returned from a lovely short break staying at number 38 The Park. If you like design and interiors you will really appreciate this boutique hotel which blends original features with modern twists very well. Our room (number 11) was light and airy (the windows do open noting a previous review) plus there was a very quiet dyson fan if needed - with plenty of space, some quirky features and a great walk in shower room. Bramley toiletries added a nice touch along with bottles of water and a well stocked fridge plus tea, coffee etc. Beds are super comfy also. All the staff are super friendly and the food is delicious served in a very nice space. Parking is easy either outside on in any of the surrounding roads via a permit the hotel deal with digitally so very easy. The hotel is opposite Pittville Park which is lovely for a walk and has numerous nice coffee stops. The centre of town is also less than a 10 mins walk. We will happily return for a repeat stay.…
My kids and I stayed here for one night on our way from Glasgow. I couldn’t fault it. The service was great (not many staff members available but that didn’t bother us as the staff who were there were so friendly and helpful). The food was fantastic - we had dinner and breakfast. It’s a beautifully done hotel, lovely furnishings and a very comfortable bed. Nice and close to the park and a stroll to the centre of town. I wish we could have stayed longer.
When I arrived at no.38 hotel I was met with a professional, warm greeting from the hotel reception staff. It was to my surprise that I was upgraded from my normal standard room to a superior room which was a lovely gesture of the hotel at no extra expense of mine. The fittings and fixtures of the hotel scream quality in this relaxed Manor House style hotel. The attention to detail is second to none. The staff and the ambiance of the hotel really make you feel like royalty, every morning is a “good morning” and every time you pass is a “hello, good evening”. I never wanted for anything whilst here, everything was present and beyond. The room was immaculate, luxurious, breathtaking and spacious to say the least! The interior design with its finishing touches and the gorgeous furniture to the ultimate queen size comfort made you feel without any doubt, completely tranquil and relaxed, a “home away from home”. The queen sized bed only guarantees a good, deep nights sleep, what more could you ask for! The bath - wow. There was also a beautiful desk area for writing or work which for those working away, gives a perfect quiet space to jot notes and finish those emails! Breakfast every morning in the beautiful restaurant of the hotel was the perfect way to start your day. The kitchen staff are lovely and I had a wonderful cup of coffee to start my morning every time. The quality of the food is outstanding and the presentation to match. Breakfast every morning was a delight. Consistency is key and no.38 gets this so right. To all the staff thank you so so much for my wonderful stay. What a beautiful place to call work. Thank you so much and I’ll be back soon! Joel…
