I enjoyed a great stay at Detmore House. Excellent accommodation and good food in a wonderful setting, with easy access to the Cotswolds and Cheltenham. The room was very well designed and comfortable, with a beautifully designed en suite bathroom. The owners provided a warm welcome and ensured that my personal needs were met.

There are aspects of Detmore House that are very good but our bathroom was a bit disappointing. It took over an hour to run the bath, the sink didn't drain very well and toilet didn't flush properly. The charm of the place would suit some people very well but you would need transport if you wanted to go out for... More

What a beautiful house, the views are magnificent, grounds to die for, with soooo much wildlife. I adored listening to Mr Owl at night, so calming. The house is very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and has everything you need. A gem. I cannot leave out Noodle the gorgeous Labradoodle ( the playful gent ). Thank you all 😃

Parts of the house are several hundred years old, but it has been so tastefully renovated that you might not notice the age of the structure until it is pointed out. It is set back from the road down a long drive, in a park-like setting. Absolutely nothing not to like. The land lady gave us a ride to the... More

The house is about a mile from the Cotswold Way, via a narrow sidewalk along a busy road. The property is gorgeous with large spacious rooms. Our room had a proper bath and shower. The beds were comfortable and the mattress was sufficiently firm. We stayed here two nights and chose this location specifically because the owner offered to drive... More

Stayed here whilst walking the Cotswold Way. It was a little bit of luxury for tired walkers. The lady of the house has exceptional taste not at all cluttered like many B&Bs. Breakfast was very good and there are seats in the garden for resting. Beds were ridiculously comfortable. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely house that has been extended a few times from the original building. Lovely walk up a long driveway to the house. Impressive entry. Good rooms although a bit warm. Nice and peaceful area with good hosts. Very nice breakfast and hosts drove us to a nice pub, the Royal for dinner. The beds were big and... More

Detmore house is an elegant b&b just off Cotswolds Way. It was the last of our accommodations and by far the nicest. I almost felt bad about bringing my muddy self into such a nice place. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast had lots of choices. Our hostess gave us a ride to... More

We had such a fantastic and comfortable stay here. Such a beautiful place, with stunning views of the grounds and further landscape. Breakfast was wonderful and beautifully presented - it gave London's The Wolseley a run for their money! All fresh and locally sourced cooked breakfast. Such friendly hosts and a good night's sleep left us all feeling in great... More
